Thanks buddy, I've actually been enjoying the work today, interspersed with a few phone calls from friends and family, a beer, and a few tasty snacks. I think I'll get to my curry shortly, and probably just snack for the rest of the day. I might get a bit more work, but I'm hoping that's it :) I hope you're having a lovely day Bob :) :thumbsup:

We do Kris Kringle each year, my father in law had me this year and built me a Kenyan top bar beehive. I’ve been talking about doing bees for a few years, and he decided to shove me into it. A little late in the season for getting a swarm, may have to wait until next spring.

I hope you all had or are about to have a great Christmas with friends and family.

A while back I asked Kerry to make a proper lambsfoot. I sent him an old Sheffield knife to study. Study it he did as this was the result.

I use my Rada wheel sharpener all the time!

3X clearance Christmas T-shirt, $5 yesterday at Lowe's. It has a little more decollete than I usually affect, but let the world marvel at my collarbones!

I just went to my neighbours for half an hour. They wanted me to stay for lunch, but I already ate! :D I have been so rushed this past week or two, I think my stomach has shrunk - not on the outside unfortunately! :D

I'm sure there are always things that remind each of us Christmases past, and these marzipan fruits remind me of my maternal grandmother, who always had them at Christmas. I had not seen them for years until spotting them on a stall in the market :)

I'm just back from the waif's Christmas at my church. People who have nowhere else to be, and people who do, turn up for a potluck dinner and a white elephant gift exchange. I gave a Cold Weather Cooking book and got a couple of Hobbit DVDs. Time for a very brief nap and then off to my sister's.
