Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Well Will sounds like you had some good food, cuppa looks fine ๐Ÿ™‚ believe it or not the wife doesn't like the cappuccino I get because they use real chocolate instead of powder, crazy lady
Greek food, you say. It was in the 80s here went to brother in laws for dinner. Hedid up a fruit platter, grapes, raspberries and strawberries. For main sausages and for us lamb he did in the smoker earlier in the day. I had lamb bread rolls delicious. Washed down with a couple of coronas.

Dennis the menance has nothing on Jack the Black ๐Ÿ˜

๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿ™„shocker!

Very handsome Steve :)

For Christmas, my children gave me a PS5๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ˜Ž I had pointed out a walking stick I liked but this is much better!
Nice spaceship Mitch :D Violet is looking beautiful, as ever :)
Hope youโ€™ve all had a good time with family and friends. The clean up and wind down now beginning ๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿ˜ฎโ€๐Ÿ’จ

Yeah, got a bit of tidying up to do myself Jack  Hope you had a great time mate :) Quality Lamb there

Good morning Guardians, it sounds like everyone had a nice Christmas, but we are now entering the limbo-like Twixmas period, and personally, I am always glad when New Year comes, and goes ;) The weather is foggy and wet here, but I might go out for a bit later, if only to stretch my legs walking down to Charlie's. I bought myself a new coffee machine, but it has proved a disappointment so far  I was surprised to received a slingshot as a Christmas present, and this one is a brand new US-UK collaboration. It looks good, but I'm very happy with my current set-up. Having neglected my Pals Lamb yesterday, it's back in my pocket today ;) Have a great day Guardians

Well Jack it must be the season.
I was already planning on buying a new coffee machine, received some money off relatives so we decided to go boxing day sales, picked up a nice Delonghi Nespresso ๐Ÿ˜Ž.
Pet hate though, when retail staff don't know their products. Big electronics store boxing day = busy, fair enough. Waited a bit found an employee, he was honest enough to admit that he didn't know a lot about them and would find someone, appreciated. Well we waited some more, Young lady came over I I asked some some questions, the response was "they're pod machines pretty much all the same". Not in price I'm thinking. Anyway I decided on the 1 I wanted and asked best price. The lady took out her in-store electronic reader to scan, didn't work as apparently labels were wrong. Her response to this was to get her own phone and start searching for the store site๐Ÿคฃ Well by this time I had enough, with all the previous waiting I'd already had the product details up on their website, so I just held out my phone, showed what it was called and what came with it.
Maybe I should have asked for the commission ๐Ÿ˜
Anyway the coffee is good.

That sounds exactly like the type of experiences I have here, when I go to buy anything electrical Mitch! ๐Ÿ™„ This past year or so, I have been getting my coffee at Charlie's, or elsewhere, most of the time, and I'm sick of throwing out coffee beans. I have always avoided the pod machines, but I thought that I would buy one for occasional use. I purchased a Lavazza machine, which arrived without the sample pack of coffee pods, so I then purchased a large box of compostable pods. However, the machine isn't heating the water sufficiently, giving me lukewarm coffee ๐Ÿค” By coincidence, Lavazza have just rang me about the issue, but simply suggested I return the machine to Amazon, so I now have that rather annoying experience to go through - and no coffee! ๐Ÿ˜– I hope you're pleased with yours Mitch ๐Ÿ‘

I've been hesitant to get a pod 1 but these days I don't drink a lot of coffee at home, so the pods are practical.
I'm happy with it the water does get hot. It come with an automatic milk froth cup. Lorna has been making herself iced coffee ๐Ÿ™„ sacrilegious!

Ha! Good morning from Texas, Guardians. Clearly there was some sort of collective consciousness coffee maker upgrade happening this season mitch13 mitch13 My fair lady got me a Breville โ€œBambinoโ€ espresso machine after a few years of hearing me grumble about our mediocre coffee from her Keurig pod machine. I got a new Lambsfoot under the tree as well so Iโ€™ll put them both on display in a photoshoot soonโ€ฆ

That isn't very annoying here- leave it at Kohl's and get a tracking receipt, and I've never needed the receipt.
I still like my last drip-maker. $15, I think. Five cups, but if I fill it to the extra line, it's six (little carafe-sized) cups. Four is too small, and eight is too big because I've over-generalized the old advice abut not shooting too many shorts in your long-rifle chamber.

It's foggy and rainy here as well, which is unusual this time of year. Have fun plinking ๐Ÿ‘

Interesting design with the offset.
I can't see that far, let alone hit something that small and far, as shown in the video.๐Ÿ˜ฒ

Yeah, same here mate, I mainly drink tea at home - that or booze! :D I only drink black coffee, so an espresso machine is sufficient for me. Got it at half price too - thouh I didn't take into account the extra PITA factor  I hope the replacement works OK

I'll have to go and get the box out of the bin, package it up, and take it up to the post office, and in the meantime, I've no coffee-maker :( Sounds like you got a bargain Jer
Thanks Jack !

Thanks pal, I had to go into town, and ended up getting a hotdog for lunch. Then, on the way back, I got a work request, which took less than an hour. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with all the money I've been earning! :D

I've seen quite a few like that, but this is the first I've handled. I haven't banded it up yet. The target there was a 1p coin, the same size as a 5 cents piece. During the lock-down, when I was shooting every day, I was hitting match-heads, but only at 25 feet. I definitely need to get out, and do some longer-range shooting again soon

This feller favours Polo mints as targets!

A black lambsfoot for Friday.

I like this little drip coffee machine from Black and Decker. It holds @16oz./0.50 liters of water. My 20oz. Yeti mug fits. Plenty of room left for milk. Itโ€™s fast and easy to clean. Plenty hot and reliable. I like the coffee from my french press better but Iโ€™m inherently lazy.
