• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

I always liked the idea of white Christmas’ but then kicking back with a cold beer watching cricket and having water fights with the kids is pretty good!

I’ve always known, of course, that your winters were our summers and vice versa, but I never really thought much about Christmas being a summer holiday there until I watched Bluey with the kids. 🤣

…not least the Guardians World Map

What’s that? šŸ˜‰šŸ¤£

Seriously, I haven’t looked at or messed with that thing in quite a while. There are probably more than a couple folks active here now who should be added to it.

I also noticed a new cafe has opened, which Tool Man is going to love! :D

Belly Buster, indeed. Assuming that’s meant to be a breakfast, they could’ve also gone with ā€œnap inducer.ā€ 😁

A lot of those competitive eaters seem to be on the slim side

I understand the explanations for why that makes them better at competitive eating, I just don’t understand how they stay that way. 🤣

Thank you for the warm welcome. And thank you to everyone else too. I’ve been watching this forum for a bit. Checking out everyone’s knives, just reading their stories and sharing their lives. I found this group pretty interesting. I don’t know if I have much to share. But. I’m here now.

Thanks again,
Ken
Pull up a stone Ken! :D
Thanks, Jack!

So hard to get right but thanks for the encouragement, Bob!

Thanks, Steve! If I'm in any way approaching yours, I'm doing a-ok!

Another cool pic there :)
You are quite correct my friend, until the body's metabolism can't handle it anymore. THEN see what happens.   🄰
I've seen it Leon, and it's HORRIBLE!! :eek:o_O:eek:🤣

A glimpse of Christmas in Australia was a highlight of British TV in the 60's, everyone was looking for their Auntie Sheila or Uncle Bob down on the beach, while they waited for the possibility of the annual 2 minute phone call! :D

Do your duty Guardians! WE're never going to take over the entire world without a map! šŸ¤£šŸ‘

LOL! :D Quite a common phrase here - a magnet for greedy sods like Tool Man! :D

LOL! :D I was slim until I was 50, and could eat like a horse well into my 40's. Wolfie is still like that. Different metabolisms I guess. Now (I'm a Fat Basket) I struggle to eat a third of what I could as a teenager! šŸ˜’

Don't I know it! Now when I go out with my wife we frequently get one meal and split it, and I am satisfied with that. Fortunately I'm still only ten pounds heavier than when I was 18 (late '70s), but it takes work to stay that way.

Good for you my friend! :D
Thanks again, Jack! Photographing a lamb and a phone, as opposed to photographing a lamb with a phone, is entirely uncharted territory for me! šŸ˜‚
LOL! :D Well done Will :)

Another fantastic pic Steve :)

Thanks pal !

Talking of overeating and fat lumps, I'm off to see the Cardiologist in the morning, so may not get a chance to call in, until later. I'll be carrying Slim! 🤣 Have a good one Guardians

I hope all goes well and you get a good report šŸ‘

I'm also blessed with a good metabolism and I try not to overeat. I weigh the same as I did when I was in my teens at around 165 pounds, give or take a pound here or there.

Thanks a lot Steve, they seem to think I'm in reasonable shape, but may have angina.

Good for you Steve :) I had the same size waist in my 40's, as I did at 15. Then I hit 50, and it all went wrong! 😭 Come to think of it, it all went wrong when I met Tool Man! šŸ˜–šŸ˜©šŸ¤£
