Oh no, I haunt a workshop myself I can absolutely confirm nothing gets thrown out! 🤣

I suspect somehow it’s got something to do with our knife laws, and perhaps folk playing it safe with what they’re purchasing and therefore the shops they’re buying from aren’t putting in the orders for the 4”ers anymore.

The Ebony you show is a beauty, is that a 4”er?

LOL! :D I do know of an exception. In the late 1970's, after Rodgers & Wostenholm had been bought by Richards of Sheffield, the cutlers were forced to move from the last Rodgers factory to Richards plant on Moore Street, Sheffield. The Rodgers cutlers very much resented the move, and threw all the old blades and springs, out of the windows at the rear of the factory, into the River Sheaf below! :eek: They might still be there ;)

Got this cool micarta lamb in the pocket today. Jack was kind enough to send it to me a while ago. Some might say the pull is strong but I say it’s just right. Funny enough I think Jack tamed her down a little.

Just a regular day off here. Watching the hellion while momma is working. Don’t mind the undies. That’s how this kid rolls. He’s a no pants type of dude 🤷. Went to the restroom and came back to my wife’s phone stolen and a bag a candy in his lap 😂.
