Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Happy Monday. My week is starting off real nice. I went on a nice although short walk and took along a K’roo. The weather here has been beautiful. We need rain though. I plan on going for a walk tomorrow. I am surprised I didn’t put on any weight during the past few weeks of too sedentary a lifestyle. I am enjoying the posts and great pictures here. Hope everyone stays safe, warm or cool as the case may be.

Got this cool micarta lamb in the pocket today. Jack was kind enough to send it to me a while ago. Some might say the pull is strong but I say it’s just right. Funny enough I think Jack tamed her down a little.

Just a regular day off here. Watching the hellion while momma is working. Don’t mind the undies. That’s how this kid rolls. He’s a no pants type of dude 🤷. Went to the restroom and came back to my wife’s phone stolen and a bag a candy in his lap 😂.

Great to see you here mate, I was just enjoying your Flock-post in that other thread :) I'd completely forgotten about that one, from the first run that firm had made up. I did make an intervention pal, it needed pliers to open the blade when I got it! The pulls on the second run were a wee bit lighter :) LOL! That boy has attitude! :D

Looks a lovely day ! Nice lamb as well 👍

I have read this thread for sometime now and love seeing all the lambs posted, but life has kept me very busy so I haven't taken many photos of my modest collection of lambs. I took a few pictures for another thread and can finally join in and share what is one of my favorite patterns for sure.

Some of you will recognize the Wright's lambfoot as none other than "Linus". Dylan aka Pàdruig Pàdruig graciously gifted Linus to me a few years ago when he saw I was searching for a Lambsfoot and it's a treasure in my collection.

It’s all down to lollygagging…and lambsfeet. Makes a difference.
:D ❤️ 👍

Sweet trio !

Every time you post this I drool. The sunlight really brings out the beauty of the scales.

Thanks, Glenn did a great job on it.

I don't know for sure, but I may have been the first to start naming my lambs. After receiving my first lambsfoot, the 2018 Guardians' ebony, I was completely taken with the pattern and the camaraderie of the Guardians. I noticed the etching on the blade, "REAL LAMB FOOT" and said to myself, "This is a Real A$$ Lamb Foot knife," and taking the first letters it became R A L F. Been calling him "RALF" ever since.

If you've told that story before Jeff, I've forgotten it! 🤣 🤣

Same here, Jack. I feel like I would’ve remembered that one! 😁

That made me laugh, because I've only read the the first five pages of Ulysses, too. And yet, every time I've seen someone drop a quote from it in a book or article, I recognize it. Because I think 99.9% of readers never make it past page five.

Good to know I’m not alone! 🤣

Nearly Monday lunch I'm catching up.
Saturday night went for Chinese meal with the kids and my parents.
Been carrying the Barrett, with a fancier wristband I had made many years ago.

Yesterday we had Italian with the eldest and her boyfriend.

Nearly forgot to take a picture of mine, they stuffed my order up and I had to wait.

Needed to get dog food on the way home, so desert.😁

Kristy and I had a couple of quiet 1s late in the afternoon .

Looks like you’ve been eating well, Mitch, though I have to admit, I was skimming a bit and saw “Chinese meal” and then the pics and was confused for a second. 😁

It also reminded me of that old video that went viral a while back (don’t know if you’ve seen it) of the guy in Australia being arrested while trying to enjoy a “succulent Chinese meal.” 🤣 I’d post it here, but I don’t think it’s Porch-friendly. 😁

Same here, fire kicked up down the road. Doesn’t sound good, couple of towns evacuating. Ash is getting bad here.
They should get it sorted before it makes its way to us.

Hope they were able to get the fire under control, Jack.

Good morning Guardians, I hope everyone is doing OK, and that you all had a great weekend, I am the point where I am forgetting what day it is, but I should have an easier week. I was working all day yesterday, but it is Saturday that still has me worn out! I'm definitely going to try and have an easy day today :D Hope your week gets off to a good start Guardians :) Got my Pals Lamb in my pocket :)

I was reading this on my phone, so I could only see your knife pic when I read, “don’t mind the undies.” I have to admit, I was briefly afraid to scroll down, thinking you might have posted a selfie! 😲😉🤣

Nice picture Barrett !

Thanks Charlie! I don't think it was labeled as streaky, but the Ebony does have some great character to it. I've been lucky that way, my 2022 Bunny knife has some streaks in it too. And yes, they will both skin a rabbit. 😁

As often as I carry lambs I haven’t used them on animals just because I like a little belly for that. How do you find it for skinning?
