Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

I spoke to an Aussie distributor that will soon be stocking Egginton brands such as Rodgers, Wostenholm.

Love my IXL, nice size around 3.5ā€.
We cannot discuss purchasing, but i got this from a Aussie retailer who had plenty and when the exchange rate was good. In hindsight they were cheap, still kicking myself. If this breaches the rules will gladly delete.

Very happy with yesterday's arrival :)

I remember that run of knives with a lot of fondness. I ended up getting two of them, one for me and one for my son. I do have to say though, my leatherwork has greatly improved since then 😬

That one has some lovely Ironwood!

Beautiful feathered horn on your '17 Jack. Have a good romp over at Bradford. My wife and I are romping all over SW Florida today for doctor visits in several different places. At least we'll probably eat lunch at some place different. Gonna carry Berry today.

Every Albers Lambsfoot is a gem all its own. That said, of all of them out there, this one of yours is my absolute favorite. It embodies my favorite colors and the jigging is simply tremendous. Beautiful knife, my friend.

New Knife Days are always exciting days but it hasn't been very frequent lately for me to have a new Lambsfoot Day. Those days are pretty special when they arrive.

Another fantastic one from Charlie. These are the best knives that GEC produces and I'm thrilled that Waynorth and the factory could collaborate again to bring us something special.

Congrats Dylan !

Congrats Dylan !

Thank you, Steve!

I've been looking at pics of these Flat Cap Lambs and the texture of the jigging made me think of Harvey. Those of you who were familiar with Harvey will recall his unique and artistic photography, playing off the textures of his knives, desserts, among other things. I miss Harvey and I can't help but wonder what art he might have shared with us regarding these knives.

Harvey was a cool guy. He would of captured this knife beautifully.

Dylan, it seems the best lambs are easy to develop an attachment to them. The quality of build and where they come from add to the joy of ownership. This one came from Harvey's collection. The slip is a perfect pairing.šŸ‘šŸ»

Sweet knife Steve
Just curious, Jer. Do you have a picture of that one when she was new?
It might be one of these?

Someday I might sand it down, but I doubt it.
You've definitely bonded Jer! ;)
Congratulations! :)
Thanks! It's not ancient but was made when IXL was still using the good Sheffield steel. The blade gets scary sharp with little effort. šŸ‘šŸ¤

Congratulations Paul, and it's great to see you here my friend :)

I always think that, for a big man, you have very delicate hands :D ;)

Love to Nancy and the 'boys', and I hope you have a great time seeing Duncan :)

A great loss to the Guardians :(
Oops, see I didn't hit the quotes:oops:😁
Newbie! 🤣

Good morning Guardians, it sounds like everyone is in good form, and it's great to see some old faces here :) Great to see the first of Charlie's new Lambs too  There's been a fair bit of sales talk here lately, so I'd be grateful if we could curtail that please. It's easy enough to send a DM  Tool Man will no doubt still be sat at home, driving Mrs Tool Man crazy. He's not even taking phonecalls! I reckon I've got a good deal though, as I'm swapping Tool Man, Boring Ray, and Harry Hotballs for 3 lovely ladies, who I recently worked on something with, and who have invited me for lunch :D Reckon I better dress up! ;) Have a great day Guardians
