What a horrible Super Bowl. Not only was it lopsided but my most hated team in the world won 🤦🏻. Food and family was good however so there is that. Not much going on today. Got to run into town for some small stuff and drop a couple parcels off for a couple Guardians. I’ll have this Cosimo today.

For me the Super Bowl was lose-lose. I have never liked the Eagles, but after last year’s Super Bowl I didn’t want the Chiefs (and especially Kelce) to do well so the cameras wouldn’t constantly pan to Taylor Swift. I’m so tired of the fan worship of Swift it could make me gag. Ended up watching the whole thing because my wife, who has zero interest in football, insists on watching it so she can see the commercials.

Celebrity worship is the pits. Celebrating and idolising the worst parts of humanity.

I hear the commercials are good, never seen them myself obviously.

I got moved from a surgical ward to a room in the Maxology Dept of the Dental Hospital, where a cheerful young Scouser cut a piece out of me, and stapled on a dressing. Staples come out next week. After 2 weeks this is left!! Biopsy proved negative!! I'm relieved of course!!
(Edited - 3 weeks, not 2!! They say if you know you forgot, you don't have Alzheimer's!!) 🤣

Good morning Guardians, thanks for the well-wishes for me and Charlie, I know that there are certainly folks here with worse troubles. I hope everyone's week got off to a good start. I was working again by lunchtime, but I'm not sure what I have on today. I could do with getting some bread, but it's a miserable day, and I have pie on my head :rolleyes: Have a good day Guardians :thumbsup:

Just noticed I forgot to hit the 'post' button this morning, and now I'm somewhere with really bad internet signal! The breakfasts are good, but I forgot to ask them to hang onto the green stuff 🙄

At least I turned the burner off before I forgot it.

Thanks Steve, I always think it costs a bit more than it does, because my bill usually comes to just under £20, and I leave £25. The breakfast itself is £12.50, which while it isn't cheap, I think is reasonable, but then tea and coffee are £3.50/£3.55 a cup :rolleyes:

We don't communicate that often, so there's usually some catching up to do.

I think I'll save some time by not packing sandwiches today. Chips and Little Debbie Star Crunch for lunch! Then I'll get serious about a wholesome diet.
