I know the feeling Jer, I am always forgetting what day it is lately!I miss weekends. Especially Saturdays. But I need the money and I have a job with regular and otherwise quite civilized hours.

Anyway, having to constantly remind myself what day it is keeps me on my toes.
It's going to be a freezing two days here and then back into the 40s.
I was going to take some pics outside, but the snowbells I expected weren't there, and if there are croci they're under a foot of crusty snow, and the sun went in before I got out, so I took a bunch of pics on my old Carhartt.
Looking good Bob
Thanks a lot palEnjoy your day Jack![]()
Many thanks David, hope you're having a great weekendVerah niceEnjoy your Saturday buddy

Yeah, they had a small workforce by then, so their knives were made by the same blokes on the same bench. Some of them would have even been made by the Richards staffI’ve noticed that Wostenholm and Rodgers after the merger were pretty similar.
Lucky kids!Should be a relaxing Saturday. Kids have been begging me for my Chili so I’ve started it. Think we will have it over baked potatoes for dinner.
Got the GL-24 today. Pile side always gets neglected so I took a shot of it.

Looking good in the woods Steve
Thanks mate, hoping soWhat a mess!At least it sounds like you’re getting better care now, which is great news.
Cheers Barrett, I reckon it was a lucky find, particularly at that price. Hope I can find time to fine-tune it!Glad you found a chair! Sounds like a cool one, too.![]()
I hope things settle down palWe’ve had some nice warm(er) weather here lately, although yesterday it was incredibly windy out, which wasn’t particularly enjoyable.
I hope you can find a pair you're happy withI hope everyone’s weekend is off to a good start. I’ve spent more time than I’d care to this week shopping around for new eye glasses, but I suppose it’s worth putting the time in, as I tend to keep the same pair for a long time. The last time I got a new pair was just before Eleanor was born… almost 9 years ago!
Afzelia Burl Albers for the weekend.

The beads are made by women of the Maasai tribe in Kenya's Kisumu County of tightly rolled strips of magazine paper dipped in paint (the one above the nail nick of the stag lamb has lost its paint shell and is now unraveling). The Maasai are notable, for one, for keeping the majority of their tribal traditions intact while modernizing enough to provide valuable assistance to the Kenyan government's conservation efforts, with many Maasai men employed as trackers, gamekeepers, anti-poaching units, and more. Beads like those shown are sold as an income supplement and aid in purchasing medical supplies and other community essentials.
Have fun DaveHowdy back! Working on these lambs hooves today:

Did I tell you guys I've joined a Tai Chi class? Something I've been kind of sort of meaning to do for fifty five years or so.
Nice pic Jack. Let's not wear that new chair out immediatelyGood morning Guardians, I hope everyone is well, and having a great weekendI had a full day yesterday, called in at the cafe, met up with some friends in town, got dragged round the museum by Cillian

We picked up some beers in town, and headed back to Matt's, but weren't able to find anywhere to eat as everywhere was booked up
We ordered a takeaway, and watched some football. Matt enjoyed both the curry and the sport, I wasn't particularly impressed with either. Better than Gladiator II though, the movie we watched, though, what an absolute stinker!
We had a few beers, and I went home about 9.30pm, and went straight to bed. I had terrible reflux in the night though, probably the worst episode I've ever had
My stomach is still feeling a bit sore today, but I need to get on with some work. First, I need to clean my wound. Have a great day Guardians
