Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

You'd think they'd have sacked him by now, wouldn't you?! 🤨

Another from 2020:

GT's Replacement Barlow 1-4.JPG

I made pear and walnut crepe filling. Tilly helped by slicing six pears and quartering a lemon. She's beginning to develop the mature patina of a capable working lamb.

That sounds delicious Will, and you just reminded me it's Pancake Day this week :)

Hartshead Barlow (Stag) 227-7.JPG

I’m laid up in bed with Norovirus. Don’t know what it is but it sucks. Not carrying anything but if I did it would be my HHB. I carry it on Sundays often. Recycled picture.

Oh no mate, and right at the start of your break! :( I hope it's over fast Paul 🤞👍👍

I spent a little more time working on the edge today. It's much better and very sharp if not still a bit ugly.

Great picture Jack !
Brother don't do your head in😀
I just use em and do a little each time I sharpen it. That's what I did with the oak, still not perfect but hones up as 1 of the sharpest lambs I own.
I use to waste so much time chasing the perfect edge 😫

You're not kidding. Today's was the first morning in over a week that I didn't have to spend the first half hour of the day blowing my nose.
Hope you're fully recovered soon Will

Thanks Steve, that looks a lot better
Bonus!

After a hard day in the kitchen, Tilly relaxes with a furry, dog-chewed buffalo horn.
Cool pic
In fairness it’s not just cheap knives.

As much as I do love both neither my GL-24 nor my flat cap came with great grinds. I fixed up the Albers with an aggressive stoning and it’s fine.

I'm not too anal about my edges, just like them sharp 👍
I definitely don't obsess over edges, the way I did 10 years ago, but the thing with those Wright edges is they're just plain ugly :(
Nice pic
Sweet David
LOL! :D

Good morning Guardians, hope everyone had a good weekend, other than poor Jakeywax31 Jakeywax31 of course :( Hope you're feeling mended soon Paul  My head wound is starting to scab, that new cream seems to have really helped. I don't know why they could have given it to me from the start  I don't think I've much work on this week, but we'll see 🤔 Thought I'd start the week off with my FC Lamb :) I need to chase up the flat cap I have on order too 🤨 Have a good one Guardians, and I hope your week turns out to be a good one
