I just use em and do a little each time I sharpen it. That's what I did with the oak, still not perfect but hones up as 1 of the sharpest lambs I own.
I use to waste so much time chasing the perfect edge

I definitely don't obsess over edges, the way I did 10 years ago, but the thing with those Wright edges is they're just plain uglyI'm not too anal about my edges, just like them sharp
