Thanks a lot Bob, I hope you're going to be ok brotherThanks Jack.
Glad you had an uneventful visit to hospital. I had a few spots frozen on my head and off I went. Just need to keep watch on one spot.
I always find your lamb an interesting variation to the norm.![]()
I hope so Steve, though Cassie seems to enjoy itThanks buddy, hopefully it will all melt soon![]()
Ahhh Henderson's!I really like Henderson's - I put it on almost everything. I use it pretty much anytime I want a little savory zing (which is just about everything except oatmeal - haven't tried it there yet).
You might even say I relish it.
I finished off this bottle on some soup for lunch today.

That's a nice thing to do HoffSome kind of mesquite on that CDB? Looks great!
I’ve got the day off today. Kids are off school so I decided to stay home and enjoy the day with them. A good day to pocket the GL-24

I sort of made a Lenten Promise to post here daily. I hope y’all don’t mind. Gotta get the post count up, ya know?

If I may digress a bit, I have found it pretty difficult to keep up with the Forums. There’s not much I’d rather do than talk about, and ogle, knives, but time had felt very limited, lately. The prolific posters here, through the ups and downs, are my role models!
Love the file work on that back spring! Would love to see closer pics and know more about that oneI sort of made a Lenten Promise to post here daily. I hope y’all don’t mind. Gotta get the post count up, ya know?

Very interesting MitchYou might find this interesting. A live feed from Newcastle Port authority available to rhe public. There's a ship going through the heads as I type.
I was just pondering what to carry today...Thanks, Dave. Good eye you have, there!
That’s a pretty special 2019 SFO commissioned byJack Black - 1 of 5. You’ve already pointed out the file worked back spring. It’s covered in Sambar Stag and has a Damascus blade. Colloquially known as SamDamLamb!
View attachment 2810508
To quote Jack on the stag: “The stag was some old Sambar, cut decades before, for steak knives. I was keen to get as much of it as I could while it lasted, and I think I had just about all of it, as it was used on both the ACs and the Hartshead Barlows”
And here’s a pic Jack took of the file work, since it’s too dark for a decent pic here at this hour. I’ll try to get ya close up tomorrow.

Thanks for the update Jack, I'm glad everything went wellLittle man went well today, nurses said he was the most upbeat and funniest little kid they’ve had. That’s our Charlie to a tee
Had a couple of “cronut’s” afterward. Apple and cinnamon on the left, pistachio on the right. Delicious.

This is how I typically start my morning at work:
![]()
I come in at 5:30am to take care of any estimates, orders, invoicing, etc... that I did not complete the night before. I have an hour before the other employees start coming in. At that point, I am helping them prepare for their jobs whilst doing the same myself.
