Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

21 would be nice! Haha my eldest is just about closer to 21 than me now 😳

Managed to get the day off, just had a school assembly where Flynn told the school he’s going to be a doctor. Not looking forward to the uni fees on that one 😬

Home now to meet the wife and other boys and then out for coffee. Bbq at the in-laws tonight.

Bbq at home last night.

Happy Birthday Jack ... I hope it was a good one! Glad to hear your son did well with his procedure.

Unfortunately, Tool Man is as tight-fisted and selfish as he is greedy Bob, so unless he's making any money, he won't be there

That's cheap nickel silver for you! 🤣 👍

Looking nicely lived-in  Cool coin too  Have fun at the show Dave

That's a nice photo Kevin :)

Thanks buddy :)

You too David, such a great-looking Lamb :)

He'll be stuffing his face somewhere for sure! :D

🤣👍

Great pics :)

I'd be surprised Dave, but you're on the list if it ever happens ;)

I better throw in a bonus pic! :D

I've always liked the look of those stag lambs.

Truly a special knife day, Guardians. Couple of fine blades came in the mail today as gifts from two wonderful gentlemen. One I can’t show here but This one I most certainly can. Daniel W Daniel W sent me this wonderful handmade shadow lamb. I’m truly honored my friend. What a knife it is. You are well on your way and I can most definitely speak for the build quality. Hope the pictures do it justice. This will be in the forever lamb rotation.

Action is wonderful and blade is straight down the middle. Covers are beautifully cut and polished. Pins and pivot are perfect. Green micarta and 1095 will age wonderfully. Thank you. Straight into the pocket for work.

That looks like a dandy.

Hey Guardians, I hope you all had a great day. I took advantage of a nice late winter day here to get out and do a little shooting, but I didn't think about pictures until I got home (I'll have to get better about that).

Steve, Bob, Jack, David, Mike and Pete: Diego and I thank you so much. Modoc Ed was more than gracious in gifting me this knife, it's one of my absolute faves.

I’ve been working with an Aussie maker to replicate my old Edwin Blyde lamb for the last couple of months. Today of all days it turned up in the mailbox, a great birthday surprise.

The maker went through multiple iterations getting the frame, jigging and dye right. I’m happy with result and can’t wait to put some age on those bone covers. Walk and talk is exceptional too.
Just like the original it’s 3 1/2” closed, small but with a strong curve in the handle it fits comfortably in the hand.

That's an interesting photo :) Great-looking Lamb  It's been a while! :D
Cool Lamb buddy !
Thanks pal, around 1970, a bloke from West Yorkshire bought a shed-load of Japanese-made knives, including a lot of Sabres and Parker brands. Various traditional English/American patterns, including a bunch of Lambs, just like this. The last time I saw him, he reckoned he still had a garage-full of them
Great pic of a beautiful knife :)

Mouth-watering Jack! 😋 I'm glad you had a great birthday buddy :) My eldest is a doctor, but told her school assembly she was going to work at McDonald's! :D
Killer stag Jack. Whoa!
Thanks Pete, great to see you buddy :)
Hello everyone, hope you are keeping well. Work is pretty busy so I’ve been absent but I’m still trying to check in to look at all these fantastic lamb foot knives periodically.

Hoping it slows down next week when folks take Soring Break in our area. 😅

And I’ll be looking for some of this ice cream. My interest is piqued.

Hope things ease off mate, and that you get time to eat some of that delicious-sounding ice cream! :D Nice Lamb :)
Cool pic Mitch

He did a nice job there Jack  Happy coincidence you got it for your birthday
Evening all
Time for Friday night legends.😁😁
Good luck pal :)

Good morning Guardians, I was working until very late, and then had difficulty switching off when I went to bed. I could have really done with another hour's sleep, but had to get up at the crack of dawn for a totally pointless medical review. When I got there, it had been cancelled, as the doctor had rung in sick! 😖 Got a couple of hours until my next appointment, so I might try to get half an hour on the sofa ;) Have a great day everyone

Glad to see others taking up the lamb pattern.👍🏻 Jack, I believe he nailed the re-creation. Now, start grinding that blade! 😄

The snow did melt yesterday; my Caterpillar boots were overkill, but I'd have been all set if I'd had to kick something.

My second Tai Chi class went all right, though the secondary instructors were both elsewhere, and the maestra was working on a sequence from way back in the form. I followed along the best I could, like Woody Allen playing cello in the marching band,
