He should have a stall at the marketThanks pal, around 1970, a bloke from West Yorkshire bought a shed-load of Japanese-made knives, including a lot of Sabres and Parker brands. Various traditional English/American patterns, including a bunch of Lambs, just like this. The last time I saw him, he reckoned he still had a garage-full of them![]()
Great pic of a beautiful knife![]()

The snow did melt yesterday; my Caterpillar boots were overkill, but I'd have been all set if I'd had to kick something.
My second Tai Chi class went all right, though the secondary instructors were both elsewhere, and the maestra was working on a sequence from way back in the form. I followed along the best I could, like Woody Allen playing cello in the marching band,

He was an active market trader at one time, but skipped about a bit, and eventually disappeared altogether. I only ever met him once, and it was at a very unusual midweek car-boot sale, in the middle of nowhere, and he was just packing up. Over the following years, I'd occasionally come across someone selling his knives, usually at between £2 and £4, and they'd tell me about how hard it was to buy from the feller. Eventually, the knives seemed to dry up, and I wonder if they are all gone, or if, as I suspect there is still a whole garage full of those knives somewhere in the Rhubarb TriangleHe should have a stall at the market![]()

Your "21" made me think of W.C. Fields' line, "I'd rather have two girls of 21 each than one woman of 42."![]()
