The favorite to cheer me, not doing well
Buddy had been sick for a few days, we had a vet out to him yesterday. In the middle of the night the Lilly came and woke me Buddy was having a seizure. It was bad we didn't try and move him, just put him in his bed in the car and off to the hospital, in the early hours of this morning due to his age, turned 14 last December and other age related problems, we made the ultimate decision.

So yesterday both my wife and I got the pneumonia vaccine shot, our second round of shingles vaccine shot, and had a blood draw for lab work. My blood draw took two needle sticks. And I got my first cortisone shot in my dumb knee. So for needle-stick golf, she wins, 3 to 5.

We had some big gardening plans for today, but this morning we're both lounging around with achy joints feeling like we have the flu, so I'm not too hopeful for chores. Based on past experience, we'll both feel great by tomorrow (although I don't know how long the cortisone will take to to go from feeling crappy to feeling great).

I like my half-time workload, but I need to talk to the boss about paying me double for working half. Guys like me are hard to find, after all.

Maybe there will be real X-men, when we've been replaced by self-perpetuating artificially intelligent silicon-based life forms.

Having more fun than a guy should legally have. My first order of business was getting a lamb in my pocket and I stumbled on this gem. Marked made in Sheffield and a few folks told me that it may have been made by Trevor Ablett. Barrett reserved an awesome house where we can host a large group so I’m mingling and learning from amazing people. Looking forward to tomorrow.

I'm a bit of my food at the moment, which is very unusual. My stomach must have shrunk a lot while losing 45 pounds, and I seem quite satisfied eating small meals, and barely eating. Certainly a first for me, but I don't think I'm in any danger of starving!

I had some nice-looking tomatoes, and some great bread, so I got out the garlic and olive oil, and took a page out of Mitch's book

I was working with a few youngsters the other day, and there was a discussion about 'Press' passes, which they all seemed to think were a big deal. I took one of my old ones with me the following day to show them, one lass asked, innocently (I think), "Was that when you had all your teeth?"
