Morning, Guardians! I’m up early (well, early by west coast time, at least) and ready for the first day of the Oregon show. Thought I’d drop in and share a quick pic of my newest Lambsfoot. We had a nice little get together last night — beer, tacos, knives and some great conversation. Looking forward to the show today.

The favorite to cheer me, not doing well
Buddy had been sick for a few days, we had a vet out to him yesterday. In the middle of the night the Lilly came and woke me Buddy was having a seizure. It was bad we didn't try and move him, just put him in his bed in the car and off to the hospital, in the early hours of this morning due to his age, turned 14 last December and other age related problems, we made the ultimate decision.

Really sorry to read your very sad news Mitch I'm glad buddy isn't suffering anymore, but all your hearts must be aching my friend. My deepest sympathises

I still haven't had a chance to catch up. I got in half an hour ago, after a long, and, unusually, physically hard day, but have a load of photos to edit and upload, and an online meeting in an hour!

The day didn't start off well, actually last night young Jack's footy team flogged mine, lucky I was worn out and fell asleep.

Kristy I were having a sleep in phone rings, it was lilly " dad I've got a flat " was on her way to work.
Where are you asks I? " the top of the windy road" love the directions, lucky I knew where that was. Headed over there I changed the wheel, told her to take our car to work and we'd get it fixed. So straight to the tire shop. As it needed replacing got 4 new 1s. Don't worry lilly had to pay us back.
Didn’t get home till after 11 and had no coffee till this point at least I know she now has better tires on her car!
We're heading out now I can see a couple of cappuccinos in my future

Having more fun than a guy should legally have. My first order of business was getting a lamb in my pocket and I stumbled on this gem. Marked made in Sheffield and a few folks told me that it may have been made by Trevor Ablett. Barrett reserved an awesome house where we can host a large group so I’m mingling and learning from amazing people. Looking forward to tomorrow.

There's a mutation that makes cilantro taste like soap. There's also a mutation that makes a person looking at a bright light need to sneeze (I believe that's called photic sneeze reflex). I have the cilantro one, my wife has the sneeze one. Since we're both mutants, maybe we should apply to be in the X-Men?

Thank you very much Tyson I used to know someone in Sheffield, back in the 80's, who said the sun made him sneeze. I always thought it was one of his affectations! Funnily enough, me and Cambertree bumped into him in a Sheffield pub What are your X-Men/mutant names buddy?!

Now you mention it, I remember you suggesting turmeric pills for some pain I was having some time back. I don't remember why I didn't try it. Maybe pills were expensive enough I thought I'd just dump more ground turmeric into my vegetable melanges.

It seems to work well as a low-level anti-inflammatory, but the tablets can definitely be overpriced, like all this kind of quackery! I've been taking some gummies for a while now, which I can get at a reasonable price

I have both! Now to design a costume.
And a power. Sneezing bubbles that immobilize villains like Rover in The Prisoner!

Howdy, Guardians. Unfortunately I didn’t bring knives to Eugene because I did not want to risk checking a bag with all the connecting flights. So no lamb as of right now but maybe I can get lucky tomorrow. I am enjoying this beer at the airport bar however. Cheers my friends.

Steve, the handles are bone, into which Rhidian cut the diamond pattern. (It’s not quite checkering, but I don’t know if you would call it scratting, either.)

The inspiration for the knife was a certain metal-handled, non-Lambsfoot knife, so I won’t mention it here, but I imagine some of you can figure it out easily enough. It really started as an (admittedly somewhat silly) idea that I had for a name/blade etch, and things evolved from there.

Thanks Jack I did, although my favourite Cafe has been closed for over 2 weeks, with a sign up saying closed due to plumbing problems, not looking good.
