Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Hope your Sunday is going well. It’s a fine morning here in Santa Cruz. Since I am professional I am sitting out back doing not a thing. I found my bliss thanks to PBS and Joseph Campbell decades ago. Sometimes it’s been a struggle to lollygag. But I perservered. Here’s a different point of view.

Professor, I may need a refresher course on lolligagging.
A fine duo for your day of leisure.

Went with the wife and kids to Viđey, a small island close to Reykjavík, for a yearly hunt for easter eggs. To get there you will have to take an old diesel farting fishing vessel that now sails as a ferry. The weather was good, kids was happy and after a couple of hours we had found twenty something eggs. Most have probably been consumed already.

I made a candle!

Not only did I not start a fire, I didn't even raise a stink.

I thought that was one of your Photoshop knives at first there Barrett! :D Brilliant! Love the covers, Rhidian , as usual, has done a superb job :) Have a fantastic time my friend

Thanks, Jack! I knew the photoshop assumption was a risk. 🤣 Rhidian makes an outstanding knife. I’m really happy with how the covers turned out. Rhidian and I had tossed around a few ideas on how to do a nod to the stamped metal handles of the knife that inspired it, but in a nicer material, and I think what we ended up with was really great.

Good morning Guardians, it sounds like we should all be in Oregon! I hope there aren't too many hangovers today guys, and that you all have a great show :) I have made no plans for today, and if it were not for the beautiful weather, I'd be spending it flat-out on the sofa! :D What a week! I hope you all have a great weekend Guardians

I see what you did there. 😁

Thanks, Dwight! I’m thrilled to have it. Great to see you here!:thumbsup:

We’re sitting here knife-less at the Portland airport waiting to head back to MN. I’ll only be sweating a little bit over the next couple days waiting for my What-A-Lamb (and the other knives I picked up in Oregon) to arrive in the mail. 😬

I had a wonderful time in Oregon with several Guardians and other knife-minded folks. It was a particular pleasure to finally meet Duncan Campbellclanman Campbellclanman in person, what a great guy!

What a great tradition and great scenery 👍.
I am I right in assuming you live in the capital?
Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the kind words guys. :)

I miss your "perspective" photos, Dwight . . . jump right back in!
Thanks amigo.
It was nice to see Dwight Fodderwing Fodderwing call in 🙂 I bought something I thought he'd find interesting a couple of weeks ago. It was sat on my kitchen table until 2 days ago. I have a vague recollection of moving it, where I don't know! 😖 Hope it turns up soon
It's the thought that counts my friend. (now hurry up and find that doohickey pronto hombre) 😁

Well said Kurt. Lollygagging is a discipline not easily learned...

Missed your pics pal ! 🙂👍

Hope everyone has had a good weekend. Recycled pic showing my set up for today. This bass makes me sound like a somewhat competent player.

Nice Bass ! 👍

Morning, Guardians! I’m up early (well, early by west coast time, at least) and ready for the first day of the Oregon show. Thought I’d drop in and share a quick pic of my newest Lambsfoot. We had a nice little get together last night — beer, tacos, knives and some great conversation. Looking forward to the show today.

Now you’re just showing off! Beautiful lamb mate.

Good looking bass, Jeremy.

The more i look at it the more i just love those covers. They are not only unique, but mesmerising and just plain beautiful.

Thanks, Leon. Rhidian did an awesome job on them (no surprise there). Here are some pics he sent me while he was working on them.
