Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Good morning Guardians, I gave up trying to sleep just after 5am, reckon I probably got enough Zs in anyway. Starting to feel like my grandfather, who went to bed early, and was roaming the streets at the crack of dawn! :D I hope everyone is having a good week, and that yours gets better Mitch :) I'm intending to call in on Tool Man later, see how that goes  😂 Got my Hartshead Barlow today :) Have a good day Guardians

Thanks Jack
The doctor gave me antibiotics.
And I did get a nice coffee near the doctor.

Kristy and Lilly have gone the lassu circus.
Thursday just on 7pm.

Me I'll be spending my evening emptying buckets.
As you know we rent, well 3 weeks ago we reported possible leak in the ceiling maybe a cracked tile. Real estate was good sent a tradie out straight away, well this tradie took pictures of ceiling and said we'll put a quote in, didn't even get on the roof.
Well this week we reported it's getting worse and what's happening. Tradie came out just before I went to the doctors, got straight up on the roof, it's a plumbing problem, took a video showed me the leak, insulation was waving like seaweed. He said if I don't put a hole in the ceiling you are gonna wear it! To date I've collected 40 litres to date, using those big soft buckets. I did ask if looked at 3 weeks ago not such a problem, straight reply was yes!
Let's see if we get a plumber over Easter.
Ah well when it rains it pours😄
You've got to enjoy the small things, waiting for hommade schnitzel to cook and coleslaw for dinner.

I've been doing that for ages. 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 All the best for Easter mate. 🥰🥰🥰🥰🤠.

Enjoy those buns.😋😋😋
LOL! 😂 Thanks a lot pal, same to you 😀 I meant to pick up dome more Hot Cross Buns in town 😋👍
Nice quiet night at work. Enjoying this nice IXL tonight.

Hope the girls enjoy the circus mate, and I sure you can get a plumber out, what a PITA. My Ex had a similar experience with a leak, and it wasn't fixed until the kitchen.ceiling collapsed, and she had to move out for 6 months while the property was renovated! 🫣 Enjoy your schnitzel 🙂👍

Something like that. My neighbor's chicken coop was raided in the wee hours of the morning by three dogs. They took out 20 hens! Colt (said neighbor) dropped one of the hounds but the others escaped in a cloud of white feathers with much testifying into the darkness. Hens are going for as much as $60 each around here! That's a month's wage here in Arkansas... ☹️ Any hoo that's as close to rioting as we can get around these parts.

Gorgeous pic and lamb Bob.
Thanks Dwight.
Sad to hear about the coop wars.

Sleep is overrated.😃 Those hot cross buns look tasty Jack.
Hope the market is lively.

The old house had a one-storey addition on two sides. Lord please spare me another flat roof. I seem to remember putting a hole through the darkest plaster and running a tube through a joint in the dropped ceiling to make the leak less general. Well, and to run the water through the plaster with less soaking.

Mom bought this piece of brass somewhere. I think it represents a thatched shelter with curiously heavy timbers.

Nice to see old Coopers Dip again 👍

The Barret

Haven't taken pics for a couple of days.
With everything else going on, I've had a head cold, getting over that but feels like I've got infected sinus😢 off to the doctor's this afternoon. Really been a depressing week.

Feel better soon mate !

Nice !

Morning Guardians! Hope y'all are having a good one. Haven't carried Capt Birdseye for a while. Captain wants to set sail but alas he's land locked in the Flint Hills of Kansas.

Today is variety day. It rained for a couple of hours this morning, then the sun came out, then it became heavily overcast and windy, now its overcast with large patches of blue sky and still windy. Approximately 60*F so probably no snow ;)

Ah the little things in life 😀
OK not so small I couldn't eat it all but it was tasty 😁

Sounds like England! :D Handsome Lamb my friend :)

I hope everyone has had a good day. I was down at the market early, but it is quieter by the week, with a lot of empty stalls, and few punters. Tool Man was there, though I don't know what sort of day he had, as I had to return after an hour or so, as I had some work to do. Boring Ray was also there of course, and also Nobber Al, who I had a chat to. Golden Gordon was back, along with his pal Robert The Badge, and I saw Captain Birdseye for the first time in a few months, though his health is not so good. Another occasional visitor was PC Mark, who isn't actually a police constable, but some lesser grade of copper, with a uniform, but no powers of arrest  He's a rather boring man unfortunately :D

Tomorrow, I am off to the Pace-Egg play out at the village of Heptonstall, which longstanding Guardians may recall. I'm going with Matt and his family, and as we're going on the train, there's a chance of a few pints :)
