Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Howdy Guardians!!!

I have missed going on this Thread, but while traveling and relying on Wifi - it's darned hard to get the time.

Well imagine this......

We are all Vikings- having just come back from battle, bought home some Human toys, telling stories of how we sent a few Christians to meet their maker - then Ironside Barrett stands up - his face still smeared with blood glowing from the Fire and cries out the betrayal of a fellow Viking, and that he must be punished - all the Vikings stand up, spilling wine from their Horn drinking vessels and cry out which one, I throw a maiden from my lap knowing it's me.

Ironside Barrett cries out that while passing through the TSA in the longship " skeiðar" I was stopped as I had forgotten to place my beloved Polish Lambsfoot Elevator Micarta that the raiding party had taken during lasts years epic battle. Ironside Barrett had these made for the war party by the local "Smior" - a fine Viking Blacksmith called Eric the Bold.

I knew I had made a grave mistake as Ironside Barrett and Ragnar Punchard looked at me as the TSA were looking at me emptying my Bearskin pouch and there before me in my hand was Eric the Bolds knife!
Fear immediately gripped me at the same time of disbelief that this was not stowed upon the longship bag, this was a tense moment.

I looked at my fellow friends, but they no longer were my friends as they spat on my feet for being lower than our slaves at that point as I tried to explain.

Thankfully the TSA allowed Eric the Bolds Knife to be delivered back to the Village "Hedeby" and so the Knife will return, but my Warrior status stripped from me and I am at the mercy of what was my fellow raiding party members having already lost the Stag Lambsfoot previously.

The wait brings fear, the shame worse.

Tragedy narrowly averted 😲👍

How terrifying

I hope you get it back soon!! 😲
Me too Charlie! it was a trip of leaving things everywhere I shouldn't have, but thanks to your honesty at the "Cool Corner" where I left my Wallet I recovered from a near Heart attack, then this! I was surprised the TSA had a process where you can package it up and send it off instead of seizing it- in fact the TSA were really nice people - lets see if it works, fingers crossed 🤞:)
Tragedy narrowly averted 😲👍
I would not have been able to look Barrett in the Eye Steve.

I may still get a blood Eagle Mitch, you know they banned that song when it was first released by Split Enz -
Glad you got it sorted. You win the coolest post of the year award.
😂 Cheers Paul- Oh mate...it was a good trip eh! :)
That's them - that's my Horn Drinking vessel to the left after they knocked it from my hand- no longer worthy to drink with them o_O
How terrifying
It was, the relief I felt when they gave me the third option of sending it to myself! Phew! 😰

Hope you have an easy day, Jack. Handsome lamb my friend.
Thanks pal, things weren't too bad until an early evening meeting dumped a load of work on me, so it's going to be a busy week
Happy Monday, Guardians.

That's very positive news Dave, I hope you enjoyed your walk my friend :) Beautiful vintage Lamb
A rare day shift for me today. Enjoying it so far. Pretty slow dreary day at work so I’m driving around and figuring out where I’m going to turkey hunt next week. Got my Daniel lamb in the pocket.

Daniel Lamb is looking good Paul :)
An overcast morning as it often is here in Santa Cruz. It felt good to be back walking on the cliffs. I had a bit of a set back and hurt my back again and pretty much started the healing process over. I didn’t realize lollygagging can mess up my back.

Yesterday I completely spaced out 4/20 at 4:20. I had two chances too. Doing that is pretty on point for a pro lollyier like me. I took out my green richlite lamb since it’s Monday to accompany me. Have a great week.

Sorry to hear about your back Kurt, I hope you're back to full lollygaggin again soon :) Great shot of that magnificent Lamb :)
I cleared my desk quickly, to install my new computer, a couple of months ago, into a random cardboard box!! My desk really piles up!! Cleaning up a bit today, I found Winda at the bottom of said box!!! She deserves a pocket ride today!! Here she is, Polish beauty marks and all!!View attachment 2854926
