I’m not gonna lie, Mitch, banana milk sounds… not great. But hey, I think we probably all have some nostalgic food or drink that we love like that. You should have heard @Campbellclanman when we were in Oregon trying to convince us all how good Marmite is…

Julie and I had a couple hours without the kids tonight. We decide to try a place we hadn’t eaten before, Dave’s Hot Chicken. It was good! Based on the menu, I was worried the portion sizes would be small, but their tenders are huge, and the sliders are more like full size chicken sandwiches. I had one of each, along with some fries. The seasoning comes in different heat levels. I decided to start with “medium” for the slider and “hot” for the tender. The medium had almost no spice, but the hot definitely had some kick!

Yeah banana flavour is not for everyone, my family think I'm mad. Choc/banana combo is good too.

I popped the battery in and it was dead. Went to my stash and got another one. Nope. Still dead. Ok, I've had these batteries for a while, maybe they've all expired. Then...
What's that? something appeared on the LCD screen, but now its gone
Long story short (too late ) If I squeezed the battery cover, the caliper worked just fine. A thin piece of card stock between the cover and the battery and all is right in the world again! A victory! Success! The crowd goes wild Ok, so I exaggerate, there was no cake

Glad you got it sorted buddy I'm all out of batteries in that size, so need to pick up some more

Hello, Guardians. Been away for a couple days. Enjoyed watching the NFL Draft with the family. Good food and love talking sports with my son and dad. Been carrying the FC Charlie lamb the last couple of days.

My woodchuck seems to have knocked over my trap and dragged it off his entrance without springing it. I just peeked in the door to see if anything needs putting out of its misery, but the springs are still compressed. So unless he hooked the safety hooks, or an unusually prescient and determined senile hippie got in there, ...
I'll peek again before church and see if he's managed to step in it.

Our friends came over for pork belly last night. They 3 kids to our 4 so it always makes for a busy yet fun catchup. Amidst the kids dance party and cooking marshmallows over the fire Andrew and I got to have a couple of beers. He’s originally from another state and on his last visit grabbed a few of these. This is from my favourite brewery, and is special because it’s a beer only made for the home state where the brewery is located. Nice treat for me here
