Hi Jack, Greg is doing well, thank you for asking. His business keeps his schedule quite full. But everyone is healthy and happy.ou too PeteHey, how's your brother doing buddy?
I've got a bunch of work on this coming week, but none I need to start on tonight, so I've opened a bottle of wineI hope everyone has had a great weekend

Enjoy the links Paul. HHB is stunning as always.First day on the course!!! Played 9 with my son and did some short game stuff with him after. The older I get the longer it takes to knock off the rust. Let’s just say….my game is rusty. One thing I miss about Texas is year round golf. Had my usual Sunday HHB with me.

Great pic Steve.
We can send you some rain, we've had torrential rain since Saturday night, supposed to ease up for Tuesday but forecast rain up to Sunday. Ah well it is autumn.
I still do, though mine is breaking down after only a few decades. A new one costs $275 on the river now.
Duncan trying to convince you to go Marmitenah vegimte all the way.
My grandfather had a bit of an obsession with gadgets. When electric kettles first appeared here, he bought 3, but my grandmother continued to use the old one on the hob![]()

Brilliant!I think I've seen it at least 5 times, the first time I've never eaten so much pasta!

Sorry, Jer, somehow this quote got left off when I posted last night.
We always gave my dad a bit of good-natured teasing about the Flowbee, but I’ll tell you what, he had that thing figured out, and his hair always looked good. There was an interview a couple years back (during the pandemic, I’m pretty sure) in which George Clooney revealed that he’d been cutting his own hair with a Flowbee for years. My dad would have loved that — we would’ve never heard the end of it.
My dad was the same way. I grew up in the 80s and 90s, so we had some weird stuff around the house. Wouldn’t be at all surprised of we owned a What-A-Saw at some point and I just don’t remember it.
That’s funny. When I watch it, I find myself smoking a lot more cigars than usual.
Good stuff!
I’m sure your “rusty” is a lot better than many of us at our best. (I don’t know why I’m saying “us”… I don’t think I’ve played a round of golf since I was in junior high.)
Nice overcast day here today. Eleanor had softball practice earlier. Scout and I walked over to a playground nearby and hung anround until practice was over. Gave me time for a few knife pics. Rosewood HHB today.
