Now I'll have to look it up!
LOL!Maybe my brain is bigger than I think!
I'm going to try mowing the lawn instead of napping after work today. I have a theory I might sleep through the night more often without an afternoon nap, but it's a hard theory to test, in the face of afternoon gravity.

Sweet Mac
LOL!Two days a year is throw all your crap away for free at the dump. Me being the cheap person I am have been saving stuff for 6 months. Got the Hulk lamb to power me through the heavy lifting. Honestly Iโm making my son do the heavy lifting but Iโm here for moral support

Good observations WillUgh. I wouldn't want to carry it around. It sounds like a pig. With the optic, it looks like a top-heavy pig. Plus, in typical committee fashion, it seems like the army has lost sight of the point - greater range and greater power at range are both functions of velocity, which a short barrel hinders. A bullpup style rifle would provide appropriate barrel length and maneuverability even though the triggers typically suck (not that your average grunt would notice the difference).
Looking good David
Great-looking stag SteveHappy Saturday Guardians ! And a happy one it is for me
I have been reunited with my HHB after a trip toglennbad for a new coat.
The original stag was a bit uninspiring and Glenn did a wonderful job as usual working his magic. I couldn't be more pleased

Looking good Steve.
Love that horn Kurt. The cats and turkeys keep a respective distance from each other. My cat here will hiss. The cats know not to go after the babies. They seem to find each other acceptable. They seem curious about each other. Iโve no experience with ferrets. Here in California and also in Hawaii they are illegal as pets. Which reminds me of Otter 415 here in Santa Cruz. The last I read was the otter has given up stealing surfboards and is having its best life.

Well, I took a nap after all. I was going to mow the lawn instead of going to trivia night at the church, or the other way around, or both, but I had to wallow in some new knives Modoc Ed sent me.
The front lawn I did yesterday, and the back lawn is not of much concern to the Pretty Police, so there's no hurry.
I'm running the dishwasher, which I account to myself for righteousness.

The Barrett.
We were out and about yesterday, not the normal haunts.
I picked up a new scarf, that I had to show off as I knowHatchet_Jack will truly appreciate it and be envious of the Barrett swans combo.
Did try a different Cafe, very nice coffee

There's a somewhat similar fountain in front of Sheffield Town Hall. I think they both appeared around the MilleniumThat's an odd fountain. I don't believe I've ever seen one quite like it
It may just be because I'm not too "cultured"![]()
Great to see those two again Dwight
Glad you're ready for the cooler months MitchThe Barrett.

IT'S back!! Some fine burl Dwight.
Sounds like a normal day of mine Jack. I continually get days and appointments mixed up. Then I am forced to put my feet up and listen to some music.Good morning Guardians, I hope everyone is having a nice weekendI can't seem to stop waking up at 5am at the moment, which isn't good, as I often don't manage to fall asleep until the early hours
I am relieved that I haven't hurt my back though, as it was a bit touch and go yesterday
It looks like another sunny day here
I had been looking forward to going to a local football tournament, which was being held at the Caribbean Cricket Club, not far away from where I live. Despite it's close proximity, I have never been there before, and I was looking forward to a boozy afternoon
Unfortunately, Matt got the day wrong, and the tournament was yesterday
Guess I'll have to think of something else to do, but I won't be putting in much effort!
I'm copying Dwight
Have a great day Guardians

REALLY LOVE THIS!!!!I've still got a lot of catching up to do (20-something pages...) but, in the meantime, here's a picture of my 94-year-old (going on 16) neighbor's hands holding my Twisted Assisted lamb. Her name is Joan, and it's her fault I'm bowling with the senior league. Joan worked most of her working life on cruise ships - sometimes as staff, sometimes as a performer. She was a singer, with her preferred style being opera. My mom recalled, as a little girl, hearing Joan's singing throughout the neighborhood. No one had A/C then so the windows were always open. My mom passed a few years ago but Joan keeps on trucking!
Joan has a wicked intellect, unbelievable memory, and a razor tongue - when I asked her for this photo, she remarked on her generosity for not charging me for such "racy" subject matter. She's an inspiration and a legitimate laugh riot.

Jack, that sounded like a very nice relaxing chilled night accompanied by fine Wine (s)Good morning Guardians, I hope everyone has had a good weekI made the mistake of opening a cold bottle New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc last night, and an hour letter I had drank it!
I then decided to open a bottle of Australian Cabernet Sauvignon, and drank that too
Strangely, I feel perfectly fine today
I'm not sure about work today, but I'm going to head to town in a bit, to buy a few provisions for the weekend. Thought I'd treat myself to another Double Lambsfoot Day
Have a great day everyone
