Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Thanks Kurt, I'm afraid it's been rather dull recently. Nice to hear what is happening your backyard :) Do the cats and turkeys get on OK? I used to have a friend who got a kitten and a young ferret at the same time, and they were very close, and kind of swapped mannerisms :D Great shot there buddy, that's a really nice Lamb
The cats and turkeys keep a respective distance from each other. My cat here will hiss. The cats know not to go after the babies. They seem to find each other acceptable. They seem curious about each other. I’ve no experience with ferrets. Here in California and also in Hawaii they are illegal as pets. Which reminds me of Otter 415 here in Santa Cruz. The last I read was the otter has given up stealing surfboards and is having its best life.

It really ties Pete's posts together! :D

You’re not wrong. 😁

A gift from @BladeRust (Joe) sometime back. Albers in Katalox...LOVE IT!!!

Very nice, Paul! Eric makes a nice Lambsfoot.

As usual there were plenty of (even more) bizarre characters passing through the market, including someone wearing a large, furry dog's head, and a tail, despite temperatures in the low 90's

We saw a guy wearing the same thing boarding a plane in the Denver airport on our way out to Eugene a couple weeks ago. I was wondering if the head would have to go in the overhead bin, or if the guy was planning on wearing it the whole flight or what. 🤨🤣

While I didn't have my camera, Tool Man had his photo taken by 2 tourists. I don't know where they were from, but they said they had never seen anything like it. I'm unsure if they were talking about the market, or Tool Man! 😂

That’s amazing. 🤣🤣🤣

I've still got a lot of catching up to do (20-something pages... 😮) but, in the meantime, here's a picture of my 94-year-old (going on 16) neighbor's hands holding my Twisted Assisted lamb. Her name is Joan, and it's her fault I'm bowling with the senior league. Joan worked most of her working life on cruise ships - sometimes as staff, sometimes as a performer. She was a singer, with her preferred style being opera. My mom recalled, as a little girl, hearing Joan's singing throughout the neighborhood. No one had A/C then so the windows were always open. My mom passed a few years ago but Joan keeps on trucking!

Joan has a wicked intellect, unbelievable memory, and a razor tongue - when I asked her for this photo, she remarked on her generosity for not charging me for such "racy" subject matter. She's an inspiration and a legitimate laugh riot. 😂

Such a cool pic, Will.

Good morning Guardians, I hope everyone has had a good week :) I made the mistake of opening a cold bottle New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc last night, and an hour letter I had drank it! 😁 I then decided to open a bottle of Australian Cabernet Sauvignon, and drank that too :D Strangely, I feel perfectly fine today :) I'm not sure about work today, but I'm going to head to town in a bit, to buy a few provisions for the weekend. Thought I'd treat myself to another Double Lambsfoot Day ;) Have a great day everyone

I’ve never been a big white wine drinker, but a New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc is one that I really enjoy, especially when it’s warm out. Nice pair of Lambs, Jack!

TGIF, Guardians! Charlie’s Lamb again. What a knife. No time for lollygagging today. My parents are coming to visit us for a few days. Have to get the place ready for the elder invasion before I pick them up at the airport later. I am excited to share some of my new knives with dad. Mom is excited to see the cats and dogs. 🐑 🐈 🐕

Hope you have a nice weekend with your folks, Dave!

Yeah, wouldn't want any 'strange-looking vehicles' being associated with the illustrious Reliant Robin! 🤣

(Here we go again Barrett ;) :D )

Never gets old. 🤣

Hope everyone’s weekend is off to a good start. Eleanor had the day off school, and Scout doesn’t have preschool on Fridays, so we headed over to the zoo for a somewhat laidback visit (we have an annual membership, so we don’t feel like we have to get our money’s worth and see everything every time we go.)

Hadn’t carried an Albers lamb in a while, so I grabbed my Ringed Gidgee for today.

Traditionally, ferrets were used for pest control, and for rabbiting here Kurt. They have a strong smell, but are not unfriendly as pets. They have a ferocious reputation, but I think their fearlessness may, certainly in part, be explained by their small brains! 🤣 Great to have an update on Otter 415 my friend :) That horn is stunning! What a great shot  I love the cat and turkey pic too :D
Bonus pic! My parents arrived safely. I made them a cocktail and dinner and we just put them to bed. Goodnight, Guardians. View attachment 2865171

Good grief, the bizarre things people do! o_O I thought it was just Leeds market! 🤣👍

Same here Barrett :) Yes, unfortunately it goes down a little too quickly in those circumstances! :D I am hoping I can find someone to drink margaritas with on Monday ;) Thanks pal :)

That sounds like a nice day buddy :) What a great pic, you fellers are smashing it today

Good morning Guardians, I hope everyone is well. I could have done with another couple of hours sleep, as I won't get the chance of a nap today 😭 I'll go and see how Bradford is looking, probably not going to take my camera though. I think it's European City of Culture this year, hard to believe really  Have a great weekend everyone

Maybe my brain is bigger than I think!

I'm going to try mowing the lawn instead of napping after work today. I have a theory I might sleep through the night more often without an afternoon nap, but it's a hard theory to test, in the face of afternoon gravity.
