Thanks Jack, I have two knives very well travelled, I am starting to clock some miles up Jack, wont be long ( in a couple of years I hope) until we share a Beer again my friend! Carried my Harts head today- man that's a great knife!!!

That’s right, I remember that now. The sleeves that I used were a bit of an investment, but the space it saved was well worth it!

I had this waiting in my mailbox yesterday afternoon. Jeremy @sbh06 made me a new slip for my What-A-Lamb. (I had been carrying it in the slip for my Cosimo Lamb, and it fit pretty well, but of course this knife needed its own slip). Thanks again, Jeremy!

Heading off to work with Diego again. Tomorrow I am having carpal tunnel surgery, and will be out of action for a few days. After surgery they want me to use my hand lightly, nothing heavy or hard, to keep the circulation up. Diego in the RFP will be perfect for coon-fingering with his pattern welded blade, file worked spine and rough stag handle, very tactile. Should help my recovery!

Heading off to work with Diego again. Tomorrow I am having carpal tunnel surgery, and will be out of action for a few days. After surgery they want me to use my hand lightly, nothing heavy or hard, to keep the circulation up. Diego in the RFP will be perfect for coon-fingering with his pattern welded blade, file worked spine and rough stag handle, very tactile. Should help my recovery!

Good luck with the Carpal tunnel, Jeff! I've had a couple, and the relief is amazing!!

Mother’s Day is honestly one of my favorite holidays. I’m blessed to have a wonderful Mother and my wife shows me everyday how great of a Mom she is. I should do more to appreciate them as we all probably could but I try to go all out on Mother’s Day.

A few weeks ago my wife joked that she would like a Cowboy Tomahawk ribeye for the occasion. So me being me….I secretly got her and my Mom one. These things were huge. They both busted out in laughter when they were seated and I served them their plate. The men had to suffer through a delicious New York Strip .

Not gonna lie, I’m pretty beat putting this meal together. I’m really not a fan cooking such expensive cuts of meat and I was nervous the whole time . Happy to report it all came out perfect.

Happy Mothers Day to all the important women in your lives both living and passed on. I hope you all had a great day.

Had the HHB with me while I wrangled these two hunks of meat.

Thanks, I think I picked it up in Denmark? The fields there are littered with flint and being an amateur archaeologist I couldn't resist picking up quite a few pieces. Didn't realize that one was an artifact until I got home.

Nice weather here. Hope your weekend is going good. I have a couple of Cosimo’s creations lollygagging with me. A beautifully jigged lambsfoot: GL N. 9, thank you Paul. And a pickled lambsfoot. Maybe I should name it “Pickles”. Also a tribute to Buddy Sorrell’s wife. I still watch Dick Van Dyke Show reruns.
