Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

First off, Jack will ask that you remove your picture as it's Lambs only in this thread.

As far as flushing the joint. It sounds like maybe there is something in there grinding. You could try flushing with soap and warm water, careful of the wood handle. Then blow dry and flush again with a light oil.
Good catch, I picked the wrong one. I switched it πŸ‘

That’s a good idea, I’ll go try some soap to see if that helps. Thanks!

Just to confirm, and this might be a question for the Albers thread. But does everyone else’s Albers lamb have a smooth sweeping action? I’m just trying to set my expectations here…

SteveC SteveC was 100% right, there was definitely something in the pivot. A good flush with degreaser and a blow out with compressed air got it out and the action is MUUUCH better. Thanks again πŸ‘
Glad it worked out πŸ‘ Check out the Thread Index sometime (link in post 1) πŸ‘
I was going to grab the GL-24 from my room out the back this morning but it was too cold to run out there in my undies so I stuck with the old faithful. Maybe tomorrow!

Good for you Tyson, enjoy the rest of your day πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘

Good morning Guardians, still not 6am.here. I thouggt I'd get up an hour earlier, so I had time to check in. I hope your week got off to a good start, and that the rest of it goes smoothly. I've decided to go over to Bradford on the train today, as I want to get back early if I can. Still going to be working late at home though. Slim Jim Joseph Rodgers today. Hope you have a good day Guardians πŸ‘

πŸ˜ŽπŸ‘ Buddy, think I'll get mine out for tomorrow

The Barrett.
it works, needed to cut some rags to polish boots, not my boots.

But they did come up shiny.
Nice work Mitch 😊 I remember when I was a young boy, we were at my grandparents. My youngest uncle would have been about 16 at the time, and had a pair of Doc Martin's. My dad was boasting about the shine they used to get 'bulling' their boots in the army, and insisted he'd polish my uncle's boots while he was out. He must have spent 3 hourd buffing one of the boots to a glass-like finish. It was typical of my father that he didn't finish the job, as we had to leave, just as my uncle returned. Slipping out of the door, he presented his brother witb the totally mismatched pair of boots. I can still see the horror on his face! 😱

Thanks Jack
That would be annoying.
I like polished shoes. As kids mum made us go out the back and polish our school shoes, probably child exploitation these days making kids learn skills 😬

You could get lost in that burl 😍
