Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

I just received a parcel from Rob @rockman0 and what a parcel it is! Amongst a whole bunch of chocolate bars, a really cool convenient single pack of Spam:p was
a 2018 Buffalo Horn Lambsfoot :thumbsup: Rob also added a modified Case Barlow and a Red Rider pocket knife. :D I will post a couple quick shots of the Lambsfoot today and more in the future after I settle down :p What can I say I'm overwhelmed Rob, at your generosity and thoughtfulness, thank you very much from the bottom of my heart.

Very nice surprise, Dave!
Beautiful knife. Very good of you, Rob!

Beautiful horn, Ron! I always admire how well you are able to capture horn in pictures. I have not quite found the knack myself, I'm afraid. However, you've inspired me to carry a bit of horn myself today.

Well that's a stunning picture, that horn is mesmerizing - almost like a storm at sea during sun set. Love it!! It could almost be a painting by William Turner (well for an English knife it's not illogical :p)

Thank you, fellas.

The whiskey is certainly interesting, though not at all unpleasant. I do not usually go for the infused stuff much but this one piqued my curiosity enough that I had to give it a try. The nose, as you might expect, is loaded with aromatic hop goodness. Great for the nose but I wasn't sure how that would translate to the palate. Remarkably smooth, requires no added water, and the hop flavor (though present) doesn't overpower the experience overall. Though I wouldn't recommend as an everyday sipper, it is pleasant and different enough that I am comfortable having it as a regular staple in my bar.

'William Turner Horn' would have been a classier name than 'Super Duper'! :D

Fantastic stuff! Congratulations Dave, that is a very generous gift :) Well done Rob

Hello to all. Here is my first Lambsfoot on its’ maiden voyage. If possible, could btb01 btb01 add a pin to Buffalo Grove, IL. Thank you.

Welcome to the Guardians my friend :) So what do you think?

Wow Barrett, those early shows sound amazing - I’m a big fan of Old Crow Medicine Show.

They were fantastic shows, Chin. That old bar was certainly a more fitting venue for them, although the times I saw them at the fancy theatre in Mesa weren't at all disappointing. They've always put on an excellent live show, regardless of the venue.

Saw OCMS about 3 years ago. Best concert I have ever gone too!

They do put on a great show, don't they? It's cool to see some Old Crow fans here. I know they've gathered a good following over the years, but I still feel like they're far from mainstream.

So I am about 20’pages behind. Busy at work, lots of rain, sick youngster have kept me busy.. btb01 btb01 you can add me in Hiram GA, just west of Atlanta above Douglasville thank you

Very cool pic Barrett

Jack Black Jack Black Thank you for the welcome. I really like the Guardians, because of the friendly mellow tone here. I did not previously think about lambs foot blades. The passion here is quite contagious.

btb01 btb01 Thank you for the kind words, as well as adding me.

We have some great folks here, thanks for joining us

Brilliant horn on that one, Ron, I hope it behaves! ;) Lately, due to the dry, cold winter we're having, RALF's covers have shrunk a little, exposing some sharp liner and pin edges. I hope he plumps back up come spring.
Thanks Jeff! I hope it behaves too! I have had my share of problems before! :)

Spectacular horn Ron, need to give mine some pocket time
Thanks Jack! :)

Yes - I agree with you cigarrodog cigarrodog , but the big question on my mind recently has been - when one post (with all the replies) takes up 3/4 of a thread page or more, does that add to one's post count as multiples or is it still just one post? Some of you guys are wicked chatty. :D Don't get me wrong, my sentiments mirror those of cigarrodog and I don't even have a lambs foot - YET ;)

AND - YES - really great looker there cigarrodog cigarrodog - well photographed too
