Thanks Ian, I'm afraid Wright's pulled a fast one on me with the stag on some of those knives![]()
Thanks Jack, it was quite a limited runHere is my Hartshead barlow. Like I said, the stag is a little underwhelming. Similar on the other side, at least they are well matched!
Nice to see the Silent Lambsfoot Jer
Hope you're winning Bob!Going to try to beat the heat.View attachment 2927034
Thanks palClassic !![]()
Interesting comparison pics JerThere's no name on it, but the construction resembles these two TEWs, though it doesn't have the TEW raised eyebrow that interrupts the descent of the back from the tang. And it doesn't share the Wharnefoot blade shape. And the handle has a jauntier swayback.

Jack thank you for sharing those boat photos from your old girlfriend. That boat looks like a beautiful old wooden schooner? I’d love to know any more details about it if she shared any. One of my favorite memories from my childhood is a 5 day family trip we had on a chartered wooden schooner that my grandfather set up. We sailed from Los Angeles harbor out into the deep water Pacific then back in and around Catalina Island. We slept on anchor and came ashore the undeveloped side of the island by rowboats a few times. What a trip and what a boat
Great pics DaveHappy Wednesday morning, Guardians! I’m glad to be back home in Texas despite the building summer heat. My consolation is I can crack open my knife boxes again and carry whatever I want. First order of business: Espresso withwaynorth Charlie’s

I thought you'd get a kick out of that, Charlie. We had a blast in Canada. The Trent-Severn Waterway is something to behold. As is Georgian Bay National Park. We anchored up among several of its 30000 islands. Thanks for thinking of us Canadians
Come back again soon, you hear!!!I thought you'd get a kick out of that, Charlie. We had a blast in Canada. The Trent-Severn Waterway is something to behold. As is Georgian Bay National Park. We anchored up among several of it's 30000 islands.

Spalty is lookin' good, Steve!
Great-looking Lamb
LOL! They've definitely shrunk his ears Charlie, but the new Loonie is a more accurate representation of Old Big Ears than on the new British currency. On the notes, he has a crew-cut - he was already going bald as a teenager! Thanks for thinking of us Canadians!!View attachment 2927239
An early Loonie, when Queen Elizabeth was younger across from now king Charles, her son, when his ears were smaller!!! Ha Ha Ha!!!
(sculpted smaller to avoid embarrassment!!)(Canadian knife, non-Lamb, deleted!)
Great name for a Waterway!I thought you'd get a kick out of that, Charlie. We had a blast in Canada. The Trent-Severn Waterway is something to behold. As is Georgian Bay National Park. We anchored up among several of its 30000 islands.
I know nothing about sailing boats Dave, but I enjoyed learning a bit about that oneThank you for sharing these. What a glorious sailing vessel indeed! I have now gone down the Brixham Trawler rabbit hole: https://venturesailholidays.com/history-of-brixham-trawler/

You should be able to feel the heat radiating from Georgia, Mitch. Feels like 97° at 6:30 pm.All right gents
Send some of that heat back. I just got back from my morning walk, 3c at 7am about 37f still only 5c at 8am. I did run into 1 other crazy rambler, told me how freezingit was as we passed. Mind you he had on shorts and no gloves
