Priority job, filling my cereal container 😁

We were out and about Saturday yesterday. Well I forgot my phone, anyway went to a different Cafe. It was table service I ordered a coffee(we decided to go sit down Chinese later for lunch) Kristy ordered water. Well the look the woman gave Kristy, I thought it was chilly outside I was wrong.🤣🤣

It was a high of 81 today, but it's so humid I feel like that faddish cooking method of immersing plastic bags in 200-degree water for 24 hours.

Good morning Guardians, I hope everyone is enjoying the weekend. I had a great day yesterday :) The weather was perfect, and I met up with a bunch of friends in the city centre, some of whom I haven't seen in a while. We ended up sitting outside an Italian coffee shop in a quiet square, eating sandwiches, and drinking coffee. We there a few hours, and then someone suggested a pub, which they'd heard of, but wasn't sure about the location. The pub in question is called 'The Highland Laddie', and I was the only one there, who knew where it was. It's an old pub, surrounded by tall modern buildings, and difficult to get to, let alone find. It was an old feller's pub, and closed a couple of years ago, but was saved from permanent closure by a local brewery, and now seems to be thriving. After an interesting walk there, we got a table outside in the sun, and I got a round of beers. It turned out the brewery have re-brewed an iconic beer from my youth, Double Diamond, so I was interested to try that. I didn't take any pics, but here's one of the pub, filched from the net ;)

After a couple of pints at the pub, we walked back into town, and I headed home, but on the way I got a message from Matt saying they were were having some beers outside if I wanted to join them. Beer stocks were low however, so I first had to go to the shop. I picked up some cold cans of Guinness, and some Dragon Stout, and went round, and we sat outside drinking beer, and chatting until late :)

Today, I was planning a lazy day, but I have to go into town to pick up my new glasses, so I reckon I'll have a coffee while I'm there ;) Hope you all have a great day Guardians

Thanks Steve, I enjoyed it, it was a nice relaxing day :) I reckon the Double Diamond Beer is definitely lighter in colour than in my youth, and the taste did seem a bit different, but then I was a teenager the last time I drank it :D
Best of the bunch :)

Now that looks like an interesting pub Jack. Glad you had a day to relax.
May I ask how the horn is doing on L'Ariete?
