I have lucky number 7 today. I hope you all have a good week!

Good morning Guardians, I hope everyone had an excellent weekend :) It's raining here today, pretty heavily, so I'm in no hurry to go out, and I certainly have plenty of things I need to do indoors. Starting my week with Charlie's wonderful Flat Cap Lamb :) Have a good one Guardians

Great choice to start the week !

Thanks, Jack. :)
The lambsfoot blade on my Rosecraft knife is longer than any of my previous lambsfoot blades, which I welcome.
But the cigar-style equal-end frame will take some getting used to; I really like my lambsfoot knives with swayback handles.

This week my lambsfoot is Black Jack, my 2018 ebony Guardians lambsfoot.

Sweet !!!!

Thank you Charlie! Its a Venture H M Slater Lamb πŸ‘
H. M. Slater is the name of the firm, 'Venture' is their mark, and the name of their factory. They were actually one of the last small firms to go, (I think their old website might still be online), Stan Shaw did some work for them

Here's their old site David. With those prices, it's a shame they're not still going! 😁

I tried buying from their site, but their descriptions didn't match their photos. That was as far as I got.

That's 😎 I wish they were still going! I sure enjoy Sheffield Cutlery history.

Yeah, it's a very basic site isn't it? I forget when I first came across it, but I think they were probably gone by then. Stan Shaw did some work for them, and regarded old Mrs Slater as a friend. She would sometimes take him old blades, and other knife parts πŸ‘
Thank you Jack!

Thank you David!
