Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Baby showers, like proms, and all sorts of other things are pretty new here in England. I suspect they don't go back far in Italy or Sicily either :rolleyes: When my daughter had a baby shower, it was just for her and her girlfriends and female relatives, but Sara, from the cafe, Hisham's sister-in-law had one at the weekend, and the whole family attended. I think they combined it with some sort of marriage blessing or renewal of vows, and handed out traditional Italian sugar-coated almonds (confetti) to their guests, and family friends. They not only know the gender of their forthcoming offspring, but she has a name too. I was pleased to receive some confetti, and will probably put them aside until Leila comes into the world :)
