Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

I was doing the same today.
Good weather for it !

Love the wood on that one!

Thanks !

I spent most of today out pressure washing the front and back decks. I’ve still got a bit more to do, and after that I’ve got to seal them. I’m trying to get this all done while the weather stays nice, so I’m not sure if I’ll get another walk in this week, but we’ll see.

Great pic of your Lunar Lamb !
Best of luck getting it all done before the weather changes 👍

Thanks, Steve. I'm hoping I can get it all done by Friday, at least the stuff that really needs to get done.

I forgot to add this picture that I took on my walk yesterday to my previous post. If I remember the folklore correctly, this guy's coloration means we could have a mild winter (which would honestly be a bit disappointing, as the last two winters haven't been very Minnesota-y).

I should note that I am not a doctor. 🤣

Politicians with vested interests, unheard of😀
It will get worse, if you live in Queensland you can't buy a knife without photo ID, including online. Check out the pop up.

LOL! :D It's the same here mate, and you have to pay extra for special delivery
Not the greatest time to be a Federal Employee. People are acting crazy and it’s internal pandemonium. I’ve been through a few of these shutdowns and know how it goes. Unfortunate but life moves on. On a brighter note I got the HHB with me at work.

At least there's that buddy! 🫣👍
Jack, always nice to see this stag dream.
Thanks Pete, very kind of you :)
Holding it down with this one again.

Cool pic
Hi Jack, thank you for asking. It’s been a determined and focused spring and summer. We just finished up building a municipal courtroom and staff admin space. It was a complicated project for a few reasons I won’t mention in public 🤣. Anyway, we did deliver before the deadline. The ribbon cutting was Friday. With the job done, Greg and I took Dad fishing. We limited out on speckled trout. It was good eating Sunday. 👍🏻

Thanks for the update, and great pics Pete :) I'm glad you got the job finished, and it looks like the three of you had a great time fishing :) Nice catch
Sounds like a good time, Jack. Some interesting looking modern buildings in your pics there. That first one reminds me a little of the Clinton Presidential Library in Little Rock, Arkansas, though I doubt the building in Liverpool is regularly compared to a giant single-wide mobile home. 😁

LOL! :D I think those 2 buildings are both museums Barrett 🤷‍♂️👍
That’s no bueno, though I feel like banning VPNs would be pretty tough to enforce. Probably best to get a good one proactively (maybe you already have).
I'm using Proton for now, but I notice, on my phone, using a VPN really increases my data usage :(
I watched that last night. 😁
😁👍
Well I’m only like a day and half late posting this. 🙄😁 Yesterday morning was cool and overcast, a nice morning for another walk. I did another six miles, starting out in the small town of Mayer walking back east to the marker for Mile 19, then west to Mile 22, then back to where I’d parked.

There’s a lot of farm land out this way, and the trail is more open, with less tree coverage and wider views.

This veterans memorial is just off the trail in Mayer, near where I had parked.

From this point on, as you can sort of see on the map I shared above, the trail heads due west and is basically dead straight.

Eleanor has recently joined a swim team, so now rather than swim lessons once a week, she has swim team twice a week, which is what we did yesterday afternoon/evening. I’ve had my Lunar Lamb with me again.

Thanks for taking us with you again mate, along with your fab Lunar Lamb of course

Good morning Guardians, my neck is still hurting, but better than yesterday at least - and not as bad as having to listen to Tool Man whining - so I'm going to go down to the market, via the pharmacy  I hope everyone is having a good week, and that it continues today

Today's T-shirt! :D

Biscuits and gravy might be my favorite breakfast. I think it’s good to make your heart to work a bit. You can’t just go easy on it. Eating biscuits and gravy or fried chicken is basically like cardio.

Hope you Guardians are having a nice week!

So my doctor has been wrong all this time?!!

I'm hoping it will not rain, so I can seal my new fence. The joys of home ownership.

That is a sweet Cosimo Barrett.

I saw one yesterday that had a very wide light band which points to a snowy winter 😁

The squirrels sure have been busy so maybe we'll get a real winter this year 👍

Looking good my friend :)

I hope everyone is having a good day. It stayed fine here, and we had a good laugh on the market, even though the only visitors were Gravel and Ex-Para Steve. Tool Man had a steady run of sales, and he ended up being given about £50's of miscellaneous tools, by a feller who had originally brought them down to sell. Tool Man had dismissed them without looking at them at first, but then the bloke said he could have them. Tool Man cheekily asked if he could also have the British Army gas-mask bag he'd carried them in! Recounting his good fortune to Gravel later, Tool Man told him, "I gave him £2. I didn't want him thinking I was tight." 🙄

Gravel didn't stay long, and both Tool Man and Boring Ray went to see Barber Brian to get haircuts. I went off to meet Wolfie, and we had a really nice spicy African sweet potato and peanut stew from a new stall in the market. We washed it down with.a fiery ginger and lime drink, and some sweet lemongrass tea 😋

After Wolfie went back to work, I went back to the stall for another hour or so, having bought Mrs Tool Man a pair of novelty earrings I'd seen.in the market 😀 I also remembered to take a photo of Boring Ray's One-Arm.Bandit 👍
