Mike they are not perfect but does make a big difference for me.I just ordered some of these wipes after seeing your pic. With winter coming on anti-fog on the specs sounds like a good idea.

It was still shortly before 11pm when we left, but strangely, a lot of bars had either closed, or were closing. We ended up at one I've not been in for a decade, where I "tasted" Pabst Blue Ribbon for the first time![]()
What did you think of the Pabst ?
I like fuller-flavoured beers Steve, so I'm afraid it's appeal was rather wasted on me![]()
Not surprised, never liked Pabst. Even among American beers of my youth it wasn't consider very good.
I was very surprised to see it on sale here Steve. It didn't seem to taste of anything at all, but then some folks seem to like that in a beer![]()
I like Pabst Blue Ribbon. I never liked Miller, which is my epitome of flavorlessness, and has fleeting, detergent-like foam.
As I recall.
Although I don't think I've drunk PBR in at least 40 years, I found this discussion interesting. Unlike Steve, back when I started drinking beer in the early to mid 1970s, about the only type of beer anyone I knew drank was American lagers, and they all tasted the same to me, with 2 exceptions. I thought I'd be able to identify PBR and Budweiser in blind taste tests, and I LIKED Pabst more than the "standard" lagers, while I didn't care for the different taste of Bud (maybe the rice used in Bud?).Jack Black 20 years ago, I tended to associate PBR with broke hipsters - if they had any money they'd be drinking incredibly bitter IPAs; Pabst was for when they were low on money. Since I've never been very hip, I've never been much of a fan of PBR (or of IPAs).

I had two coyote sightings yesterday. My computer overlooks my back yard, which is often why I see them. At 1:50 pm my eye was caught by one trotting across the middle of the yard. He looked around a bit and went back into the field behind my yard. Then a little before 6 pm I was in the yard doing tai chi and I saw one on the other side of the hedge moving deeper into the field.
CelloDan would have them balancing his Lambsfoot on their noses by now!![]()
Thanks, as always, for the interesting market report, Jack.Every October day without rain is a bonus in England, so I've had a fairly good day, despite the market being dead as a doornailTool Man was pleased with his book, and with the doughnuts, and we had some good crack. Nobber Al was there, as was Ex-Para Steve, who said he'd woken up at 4.30am, and decided to come down early, after he'd taken the dog for a walk. The long-suffering Perfume Fatties were there, but a few of the other traders had knocked. The Tool Stall regulars are in equally short supply these days, and only Gravel and Harry Hotballs made brief appearances (though I did see Slimline Scott after I left). An occasional visitor is Ken, who was a gaffer at a famous Leeds tank factory, and who walks around in shorts and sandals whatever the weather. When he said he had recently spent 4 nights in hospital, I asked if he'd had frostbite!

Striking knife, Kurt!Bob I like your bike. Thanks for the Market Report Jack. I’m only up to the late 1950’s in the Ted book. It is a deep dive into Tedism. So far no mention of Tool Man yet. But he was probably just an untattooed hungry pudgy baby with hooligan tendencies at that time. Uh-oh that sounds like me now except I’m tattooed. I could be Tool Man’s doppelgänger. I want a donut…

Jack, it seems like you spend a lot of time trying to deal with dysfunctional aspects of English society!I had to call in the pharmacy, as they missed my BP medication off my last prescription, and then saw the BP quack at the surgery. I called in at Charlie's cafe. It has been dead all week, and the new discount bakery that has opened a few yards away is clearly hitting their trade. Hisham seems a bit oblivious. My first stop in town was at the bank, but weirdly they only had Scottish notes available! Since barely any English businesses accept them, I passed, and just took care of my other businessJust having a cuppa, and a Bakewell slice

YMy day off for today went through all right. The sun is peeping out, so the protest will probably have a good crowd which I am happy to avoid. I have a couple of things to do today- schedule the car service, sort out my Lowe's benefits, run out and pick up a prescription. Convex the edge on a new non-lambsfoot.
Tai chi, pa kua, squat thrusts, push-ups, and Indian clubs.
I also hope to get to an antiques mall.
Looks like it's time to harvest.

I hope everyone is having a good weekend, so farI ended up calling in at Charlie's, then going into town for some lunch with friends. I had some work to do, and am glad I got on with it, as my internet went down not long after, which is why I'm not posting until now. Had to watch a movie on DVD

I think I'm in quite good shape for my age, Jer, but there's no way I could do 15 squat-thrusts! Good for you!Well, I'm up to all of fifteen four-count squat thrusts, but tonight they suddenly felt springy instead of sloggy. With fewer and shorter pauses for contemplation.
I'm just repeatedly astonished how far I can slip in how many ways, after just a few decades of self-neglect.
Your AC is Absolutely Charming, Jack!...
I'm unashamedly copying Steve, and carrying my AC LambsfootHave a great day Guardians

I always get enthused when I hear your frequent optimistic reminders of impending spring, Jer, but this one seems quite premature (unless you're speaking on behalf of the Southern Hemisphere, or you mean that the corner around which Spring lurks is actually quite a distance away).Highs below 60 starting today!
Spring is right around the corner
That looks like the kind of book that tends to dominate my library loans!...
I've been reading a book I picked up, some 'Yorkshire Noir' set in Leeds!![]()
