The micarta on those twisted lambs are nicely done Jack.

Thanks SteveGood one for MM !
Nice looking Micarta ! Sorry to hear you're still having trouble sleeping.

Let's not start dancing with that song in your heart, you may end up with an ache in your back.
Very nice Steve, that must be from the first run they had made I reckon
Smashing!Flat Cap lamb still on kitchen duty. Haven't actually pocketed and left the house with it yet.

Wonderful choice David

It was a strange day, slightly bumpy, but not really bad.

I got the last store phone at work, but when I went to change the battery, I couldn't put it back together without help. That is, somebody else put it back together for me.
My pillbox fell out of my red vest into the urinal.
I can't get Rod Stewart out of my head. (Reason to Believe.)
The pillbox in the urinal was a little bad, but I have more pills and pillboxes.
Great!!! Hope you have a joyful, musical day in Bradford (at least in your heart!!!)Hope everyone is doing wellI'm still working round at Grumble Towers, and I'll be up early and off to Bradford tomorrow. I shall have a Lambsfoot in my pocket, and a song in my heart though!

I will ride bundled up, but not in the snow, cleaning bike then is a pain.
I hope the thunderstorms and lightning weren't very, very frightening David![]()
Obviously no barbers where those boys live!![]()
(According to Mel Brookes, Gene Wilder had so much fun making this movie, he tried delaying the end of filming!)
I enjoyed the entire trip, Barrett; I'd consider it quite an accomplishment!
Your photo of the end of trail contains a sign that opens up entire new vistas! I looked up the Luce Line State Trail - 60 some miles east to west starting in Wayzata. When do you start??![]()
โฆbut not wall calendars, which means I can re-use them. I've got a 1997 X-Files calendar up on the wall right now.![]()
Good morning Guardians, I survived my night out with Matt!I called round for him at 4pm, as I had some climbing shoes for him, and some comic books for his lad Cillian.
We caught the bus into town, and went to the pub. The Guinness was good, particularly as we got the first pint free, but sadly the food has really gone downhill. They had a 2 for 1 pizza offer on, but they were really disappointing. After leaving, I got into a conservation with a random drunk, who asked me what kind of knot I'd use to tie up a boat! While it's one of the strangest questions I've ever been asked in the street, I was quite happy to have the conversation! We went into the train station, with the intention of having a couple of pints in Huddersfield, but there has been major disruption to this line for the past year, as they're adding extra platforms to the station at Huddersfield. We thought things were back to normal, but the direct trains are taking 40 minutes, instead of 20, and the other trains have been replaced by a bus service. We had to wait 20 minutes, and then boarded the train wishing weโd brought a hipflask!
By the time we reached Huddersfield, we had to head straight to the theatre. People had been asking me all day who we were going to see, and I had to tell them I had no idea, which was quite amusing. It turned out to be a bloke called Daniel Kitson, who went to the same Huddersfield college as Matt, and is clearly well-known in the town. Iโd never heard of him!
Iโd not been to the theatre in Huddersfield before, and itโs actually very nice. Matt didnโt want to risk the embarrassment of having to leave his seat during the performance, so requested wine when we went to the bar. I asked what they had, and Matt told the barmaid heโd have a glass of Rioja. I asked her what sort of Rioja it was, and she told me she thought it was from Italy! Thankfully it wasnโtMatt decided we needed a couple of whiskies as well. Strangely, they had half a dozen bourbons, but not a single Scotch.
The bar got crowded, and we shuffled into the theatre, greedily clutching a drink in each hand. An old hippy walked onto the stage, carrying a bar stool, and started fiddling with a mic stand. I took him to be a stage-hand or something, but this was Daniel Kitson. He asked if everbody was in from the bar, and said, โDonโt worry, Iโll only be 70 minutes, then you can go.โ He then took his chewing gum out, stuck it under the stool, and started reading a story from a large book. It was a strange story, mildly interesting, vaguely amusing in parts, but without any real point to it I could see, centring on a man picking up a hitchhiker dressed as a Halloween ghost. I thought this would last for 5 minutes, then heโd tell a few jokes or something, but an hour and 5 minutes later, he concluded, fairly abruptly, and walked off the stage to applause.
Me and Matt walked through Huddersfield town centre, past the market, and to one of my favourite pubs, โThe Sportsmanโ, where we had time for a couple more pints before boarding the last train back to Leeds. I was shocked to learn that the character we'd just seen was only 3 years older than Matt, as he looks considerably older than Matt's dad! Strangely, I could find no up to date photo of him online!
Anyway, have a good day today Guardians

The example I tried didn't seem to taste of much at all Gary, but I had drunk a stronger beer immediately before. Matt went to get us another pint each, and as I had commented that I had never had PBR when we came in, he got us a half-pint each, on the side![]()
Busy day here, but since I had to go into town, I thought I'd have a chip butty

Thank you SteveSafe travels buddy !
Maybe they only had a Barber Brian and no haircut was the best option.![]()
I donโt doubt it. Great movie.
Yeah, it was different BarrettSounds like an interesting night out, Jack.
I think you probably got the taste about right. Itโs been a long time since Iโve had PBR. I remember it being better than the standard American macro stuff, but only by a small margin.
I thought of you as soon as I thought of having one mate!Iโm jealous!![]()
You know, I was just using that one earlier today.![]()
Cool pic buddy, I hope y'all have a great Halloween!Love those!
Iโve been carrying my Curly Katalox Albers for a few days. Iโm working on finishing up the girlsโ Halloween costumes. My Lambsfoot had contributed a bit here and there, but today it was just observing.
