Rain can make a big difference in how you perceive cold, for sureIts been rainy and overcast all day. One of those days that feel colder than it is. This morning, when the rain was a drizzle, I watched a work crew with a mini-trackhoe dig around in Barbara's yard across the street. After they finished that, they went up the hill and dug on my side of the road. Yesterday they were installing small diameter orange plastic pipe all along the other side of the road. Rumor has it we're getting fiber optic. Yay
It would be nice to able to upgrade from antiquated DSL connection.

I called in for a coffee and a Danish at Charlie's, and then headed to the market. I had missed Scooby, and Boring Ray is away on his annual vacation/disaster, but Gravel and Harry Hotballs were there, along with Tool Man of course. Nobber Al was standing, and Ex-Para Steve was in attendence. Golden Gordon is due to return after an absence of several weeks, but the Perfume Fatties have handed in their notice. Bad news about the Fatties, as not only do they occassionally send some cake our way, but they act as a good windbreak.
