Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

I don't seem to be able to get your pic to load Gary :(
Jack, I continue to use Imgur "anonymously" (without signing in to an account) to post my photos, and I know that Imgur has "banned" the UK in some way. But I thought your VPN allowed you to get around that obstacle.

Thanks you Jack.
Enjoy the market, chips and gravy all round 😋
That would have been a good plan Mitch, maybe next week 😋
Evening all
That looks good mate :)
Artistic Jack...enjoy the market.
Thanks Bob :)
No not really Bob, this 1 is close.
Although the Ahmed the barista, used to work at my old favourite so he looks after us and he makes a good coffee.
Good news Mitch :) There are some exciting things
Good morning, Guardians. Up early to get ready for a quick work trip. No knives on the ✈️ so I took a new photo of Charlie’s 🐑 with a ten year old quarter to placehold for a few days. Will send photos from NYC if I get time. Glad to hear you made it safely through Guy Fawkes Day, Jack. Wishing y’all a happy Thursday!

Thanks Dave, I hope your trip goes well, and that you manage without your trusty Lamb :) Great pic

Gorgeous burl Bob :)
Bundle up and say hi to the Ted's for us 👍
I did Steve, though it actually turned out quite mild today :)

Yes, it does Gary. I'm not sure what the problem was today, it didn't look like an Imgur issue. Your pic was just showing as a small square (with Imgur, there's actually a notice, until I turn the VPN on)

Tool Man was pleased to see me, particularly as I bought a fruit-cake on my way through the indoor market. Gravel was there, and treated us all to some onion and mushroom bhajis. I had one, Gravel had a couple, Boring Ray had one, and Tool Man had the rest. He ate half the cake, polished off most of a ‘school slab’, and then started on a mountain of boiled ham sandwiches. He’d boiled the ham himself, and the meat was cut over an inch thick. He probably had most of a pig there!

The Perfume Fatties were in attendance, and I remembered to take a pic, though some strange feller kept blocking my view of the Head Fattie.

Golden Gordon also stood for the first time in ages, though, as per usual, he had virtually nothing on the stall. Gordon is a lot more intelligent than most of the traders, and I have often wondered if the real reason for his presence, as he barely takes any money, is that he’s writing a novel.

Slimline Scott turned up in the afternoon to compete with Boring Ray in the All-Yorkshire Dullness Awards. Another visitor was Schenker, who we rarely see, but is generally interesting to talk to, so he did balance things up a bit.

Ex-Para Steve was over on Nobber Al’s stall, and I’m glad I went over, because he showed me this fascinating 1930’s novelty, he had found in an antique shop the previous day. The grinding wheel turns by hand, and there’s a hole for a replaceable flint, so that sparks are thrown. I’m very envious!

I think Gordon could write a trilogy with the cast of characters present.

That is a fascinating toy Jack.

A beauty Steve. That may be an inspiration for me.🤔

Thanks Bob !

Gordon's dad was an old newspaper man, and he's always asking me about my writing :D

I asked Tool Man how he was going on with the Ted book. He said he was really enjoying it, but apparently he's only managed to read 10 pages so far!

Glad you had good day at the market buddy. Great pic of your Lamb 🐑 with the grinder 👍🤠

I have yet to finish the Ted book. I thought it started off pretty well but it’s become a real slog. I am almost done. The author has found any mention of a Teddy anywhere, anytime in the UK and that’s pretty much the book. And so far no mention of Tool Man or any of the other Ted’s held in esteem here. I have enjoyed some of the rabbit holes the book has sent me on though. Thanks for the report.

I must pay more attention to the Market Reports. I thought the perfumed ladies were just large ladies that were piling on the Chanel #5 while hanging at the Market looking for a hooligan hook up. They look nice.
