Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Good morning Guardians, I hope everyone has had a good week :) I'm off to the docs today, for some routine appointment. Hoping to meet up with Wolfie after, for some lunch, if he isn't too busy with work. Got my Pals Lamb with me, thanks guys :) Have a great day :thumbsup:

I had the day off yesterday and didn't get a lot done, but did groceries, laundry, and dishes. There's more brush to get out, and, and. ...
There's a funeral at church today. I tried to get the day off, but I only found about it Tuesday night, so no dice. I could call in sick, but I don't want to lie so I can go to church.
It'll get done without me.

These days, I think that image is much better known than Guy himself Jeff :D I do like the word 'Fawkesian' :D :thumbsup:

Fawkes is depicted in a contemporary engraving from 1605, together with his co-conspirators. However, I doubt they stood around long enough to get their portraits captured, if indeed they ever assembled together at all, and Fawkes looks much like the other men in the engraving :D

He was apparently a tall, strong man, with reddish-brown hair and a flowing beard. There is no shortage of later portraits, and they do adhere to a certain stereotype ;)

LOL! :D Many years ago, in a bar I used to go in, at Oktoberfest, they gave away a load of promotional competition prizes, of which I won many, including several supposed "Bavarian drinking hats". Wolfie's eldest lad was due to start school around the same time, so I gave one to Wolfie for him, with the instruction he should wear it for his first day at school 😂

Even in this so-called "enlightened age", technology still has lots of magic and mystery for me! :rolleyes: 😲
I found it ironic that in your post telling me that you couldn't see my photo, you quoted my post and the image appeared (to me, at least) just fine! o_O🤓

I'll try a "test image" below to see if you have the same problem a couple of days later. I'm depending on the veracity of "Time heals all wounds."

I tried to take a photo of the November Beaver Supermoon early Thursday morning when I took the dog out, but my pointnshoot Canon isn't very good at "fancy" shots, at least when I'm controlling the camera. But I pasted in a little pic of Valley Jack, and it came out kind of interesting:

I feel like I am staggering around in the dark a lot of the time Gary! 😖 I think that part of the problem may be the VPN itself, which seems to significantly affect my connection speeds. When I first looked, this time I was getting the purple Imgur notice. When I connected the VPN, I was just getting a sort of 'broken thumbnail' like yesterday, (though all the other images are showing). However, in my quote I can see the image fine - a very cool pic :cool: Using the VPN is a pain in the backside, but as it turns out, I only need to connect to see your photos Gary, I think everyone else is uploading their images directly to BF :thumbsup:
