This little book is inscribed to my grandmother for an un-numbered Christmas, in a fine hand with a fine-nibbed pen. I didn't notice till I saw the pictures without the index card, that it has my father's childish signature on the cover.

That's incredible, you do have a lot of accessible family history Jer

The weather turned rotten here again, but I managed to get my tedious chores done in town, and then came home to some rather tedious work, which will occupy the rest of the day, and tomorrow too I reckon

I'm back again with pics of Smoked Lamb, my Lambsfoot of this week. Here's one with the knife on one of my new boots, showing off the boot's treads. Time will tell whether the rather shallow treads allow me to realize my dream of using the boots to walk 50 miles per week in the winter.

Here's Smoked Lamb with more mums, of a different color than those in my photo yesterday. I think these yellow ones are a couple of years old, purchased at a school fundraiser for the school my nephew's 2 kids attend.
