Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Thanks for the report Jack. I'm shocked that Tool Man sprung for some grub 😯

Nice pic of Big Rose !
LOL! Well, parkin is a type of ginger cake, so Tool Man didn't have to dig too deep (£1.50), and you can guess who ate most of it! :D Thanks buddy :)
Good day Guardians !

Woke up to -8° this morning. Thankfully there was no wind so it wasn't so bad.

Old Rodgers today

That's COLD Steve! 🥶 Your Rodgers is a great choice :)
Mornin Guardians! Happy trails 🤠

Catching the sun David :)
Good day all.
This came in handy putting a crib together for our future second granddaughter, Emma.View attachment 3042191
Congratulations Bob, my eldest daughter is called Emma :)
I thought the same thing 🤣
😂👍

Thanks mate, that is my Grandpa's tobacco tin.

Wonderful you have it Steve  That design is still very popular here, but I've not seen one with a horse :)
I almost fell outta my chair when I read TM sprang for some food. 🤣 Like that pic of Big Rose 🌹
That seems to have been a common reaction! 😂 Thanks buddy :)
Got blood drawn today. Get ready for next week's doc appointment. I was part way home when the lab at the hospital called me and told me they didn't draw even blood could I come back. So my afternoon out took longer than originally planned.

Sorry to hear that David, good luck next week  Nice companion there :)
Tell me tomorrow how the action is on that one Jack. Great grain.👍🏻
I've had it a long time, so it opens nice and smooth Bob :) Thanks, it's one I picked up at the factory, Indonesian Rosewood :)
Jack that’s a good pic of you and Tool Man. Enjoyed the report.
I’ve just been lollygagging about today. Took this pic of my Blue 88 along with my faithful feline friend.

Thanks mate! :D That's a handsome knife
Just saw this picture on my big screen...........................................Christmas card?
🤣👍
For today.
Cool pic Mitch :)
Don't do that.
I fell off a chair at school 3 stitches in the noggin.
I think we all have a few scars from school! :D I've even got a knife scar, and another from broken glass! :D
Although I did see the cane once or twice in primary school.
If I had £1.....
I had the Nuns in primary school. They were experts in dispensing disciplinary pain.:eek::eek:
They do have that reputation, oddly
They were excellent at manipulating a yard stick.!!
When I started infant school, a few months before my 5th birthday, the children had to sit cross-legged on the floor of the school hall for Assembly (prayers and hymns). The teachers would stand round the sides with sticks, and clout you on the head if you were not singing to their satisfaction. Frustrated by their inability to reach the children in the centre of the hall, they brought in longer and longer sticks, some of which must have been fishing poles. They laughed and joked about their competition. They were just ordinary women in a state-run school, most of whom were mothers themselves, and while this was very far from the most sadistic thing I witnessed at school, I still today, sometimes wonder what possessed them to be so casually cruel to small children 😠

Good morning Guardians, I hope everyone has survived the week unscathed ;) Nobber Al was telling me yesterday, how there had been a proposal to amalgamate the two main Sheffield football clubs, Sheffield Wednesday and Sheffield United. Since there is rivalry between their fans that is beyond fierce, I'm looking forward to reading their reaction to this sage idea! 😂 I was supposed to be meeting Wolfie for coffee this morning, but he let me know, just now, that he had "forgotten" SWMBO was using the car today  I am still looking forward to getting coffee though. Nothing too much on today otherwise, but I'm sure something will come along ;) I have L'Ariete in my pocket :) Have a great day Guardians

Thanks pal, it has warmed to a nice 20° this morning 👍

Thanks, I'm happy that I have quite a few tools of his and also also his pipes and tobacco boxes. Me and my brother spend many hours up in his hut as he called it learning to use hand tools.

Great shot of L'Ariete 👍

Happy Friday Guardians! There's a big football game this weekend, my hometown Chicago Bears and the Green Bay Packers, that I'm getting stoked for. Bears have surprised many this season but I'm just glad they're watchable again. Too many years of just awful play and coaching. I hope you all have a great weekend! :)

As a lifelong Cowboys fan who has had to suffer 30 years of mediocrity and very occasional playoff failures since Jerry fired coach Jimmy Johnson in the late 90s, I feel your pain. And since the Packers have been responsible for many of our most painful season endings and early playoff exits, I’m delighted to root for the Bears with you!

Beautiful 88. My Lamb content here to legitimize this mini rant! IMG_9824.jpeg

Thanks Jack
It was tasty 😁
You have a great day
Thanks Mitch, you too :)
It's 3 degrees now. But it's supposed to get up to 26.

Great shot of L'Ariete 👍
That's nice Steve, I have one or two keepsakes from one of my grandfathers, and nothing but happy memories from the other. I had one pair of grandparents who were real collectors and hoarders, and another pair that kept nothing, but a few photos of their grandkids. Thank you for the kind words my friend :)

Have my HHB with me today and making sure I keep it out of the rain.
That looks nice Bill, I'm glad you're still getting your walks in :)
