Last week, I received an early Christmas gift from Generous Bob, a pair of these beautifully-made personalised sippin' glasses, which actually match a set of whisky glasses Bob gifted me earlier They're made by the English Pewter Company in the building, in the East End of Sheffield, where in 1913, Harry Brearley invented stainless steel I thought I better Christen them properly, so ordered a bottle of my favourite rum Cheers Bob, and all my fellow Guardians

We sure have had some rain since Summer ended here, it's rained lightly all day, but it's been heavy for the past few hours, and there's more rain forecast for tomorrow I haven't decided about the market yet, but I'll probably show my face for half an hour, if possible. Reckon I'm going to hang onto the GL-24 for another day

Tonight we were back in downtown Minneapolis for the Guthrie Theater’s production of A Christmas Carol. Eleanor and I have gone every year since she was 6, but tonight was the first time Scout was old enough and we could all go as a family. I was curious how Scout would do — she got a little antsy during the Muppet Christmas Carol production with the live orchestra that we saw last week — but she seemed to enjoy this more and did really well.

Strangely, I have never liked mustard (I'll tolerate it), and yet love Secret Aardvark Habernero Sauce, which contains a lot of mustard

Eleanor and I have gone every year since she was 6, but tonight was the first time Scout was old enough and we could all go as a family. Yes that is a great picture of your GL-24 Jack. I grabbed mine this morning also and took a picture of my lollygagging cat doing some catnip licking and sniffing. My catnip plant is quite popular with neighborhood kitties. Good Thursday to all.

I was meeting some friends in town for something to eat, and was glad I took an umbrella, because it rained relentlessly. Not all the company drink, so we went for hot chocolate afterwards. The shops were open late tonight, and it was very busy in town, but with a nice atmosphere
