Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Fair enough.

I kinda feel like it's a great way to get a feel for the pattern
It's a much uglier knife but much easier to replace if lost.

(I've noticed that's a real problem for me, I don't want to risk dropping and breaking or just losing a nice knife that I can't easily replace)

I also gravitate to micarta and hardwood scales over jigged bone or stag for the same reason (MUCH less likely to crack or break if accidentally dropped)

Who knew, in a hobby full of obsessive and ADHD folks I would be even more obsessive and ADHD about something like this :p

Happy Christmas Eve everyone !
Seconded to you and all the other Guardians, and dog, a fine looking specimen he is. Early Christmas morning here, just waiting for coffee machine then have some driving to do which i'm not looking forward to. So everyone out there have a good and safe day and enjoy your day whatever you have planned. 🦌 🦌 🦌 πŸŽ…πŸŽ…πŸŽ…πŸ₯°.

Safe travels Leon, avoid the mugs! πŸ˜‰ Merry Christmas mate πŸ‘

I love Christmas but this year was hectic. Partly my fault because my kids are spoiled rotten. I’m not leaving my house until Friday. Hope everyone has a great Christmas Eve and wake up to a wonderful Christmas with friends and family.

IXL in the pocket today.

Nice Paul. I would say " enjoy the time off" but I know you have a few boys to contend with. Merry Christmas.

A pleasure my friend :) Looking online, the Lambsfoot knives with the Burgon & Ball mark look to be of better quality than some of the ones I've seen in the past (similar to ones carrying the Wilkinson Sword mark), and clearly made by A. Wright & Son, who took over Howarth's

Hope you have a great day Mitch :)
I agree, Here they used to sell them on garden sites in a little presentation box with pocket steel.
I will agree this lamb is of better quality than some recent A. Wrights.
Maybe they did their own quality control, being sent in their own branded packaging.

I would have thought thst Australia and NZ were primary markets Mitch, and no coincidence that they chose a Lambsfoot. Burgon & Ball were better known there, than in England πŸ‘

I reckon so mate πŸ‘

Cheers Guardians πŸ‘

Great looking pup dog Steve SteveC SteveC . What kind of dog is it and what's it's name. "Abby" the Hoarder wants to know.

Thanks Ed , her name is Cassie and she's a rescue from Alabama. She's a mut so I'm not sure although I believe she has some Australian Shepard in her.

SteveC SteveC - I asked because Abby has pretty much the same history - rescue and we believe mostly Australian Shepherd and Cassie is pretty much a look alike to Abby same coloring, ears, etc..
