Bob i don't bring them inside.
The aloe do alright in winter if they get direct winter sun and wind protection. Our winter only gets down to around 5c.
Bigger issue is the summer thunder storms, too much water. I turn the saucer/ tray upside down and rest the pot on top for good drainage.

We got a couple of inches of light snow. Just enough to hide all the ice patches which will make walking a treat 🙄
