Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Hello Guardians! I got the HHB memo, too!

Good morning Guardians, I hope everyone is doing well :) Getting to the end of another year, and about to embark on the very sci-fi sounding 2026  I always hope for a better year for the world, but am usually disappointed I'm afraid  Still, we can live in hope 🤞I hope you all have a Happy New Year's Eve, and that the coming year is a good one for you, and your family :) If you haven't entered my giveaway, there's still time ;) No big plans for today, but I'll see if Wolfie needs a hand with anything, and maybe I'll even get to give his kids their Christmas presents  I'm having a Double Lambsfoot Day today, with Charlie's spectacular Flat-Cap Lamb, and my 'futuristic' Space Lamb  Have a good day Guardians, and a great evening 🥂🎉👍

Interesting looking Field Notes notebooks, Jack. I can’t keep up with all the different stuff they put out. 🤣 Couple good looking Lambs there, too.

Hope everyone is having a good day. I called in the cafe for a coffee, and saw Hisham's eldest son, Ryan, which was nice. He'll be starting school in 2026. I had a hot chocolate in town, and then took Wolfie to get some keys cut. We went for a pint while the locksmith did them. When Wolfie went back home, I decided to eat out, and went for a pie ;) I was going to have a glass of wine, but they only had one red, a Merlot 🙄 Think I'll be watching a movie this evening 😉 Have a good one Guardians, and Happy New Year to all of you 👍

Hope that pie was as tasty as it looks.

Look, the old 'Chocolate Trick'!

This time last year, the large boxes contained 240 teabags, then 6 months ago they reduced the number to 210, but it turns out they were doing me a favour! 🙄

I hate when they do that kind of stuff. 🙄

Can’t complain about that, I suppose. We got weather like that over Christmas when we were Arkansas. Lived there my whole life until my mid-20s and I don’t ever remember a Christmas where it was shorts weather. 🤣 Of course we later lived in Arizona, where pretty much every Christmas is shorts weather. 😁

Happy Saturday, Guardians. I recieved two wonderful boxes in the mail from two Guardians and I just have to show my appreciation for the thoughtful gestures.

First one that showed up was this amazing Gerstner knife Chest from Rufus1949 Rufus1949 What an amazing item. Blown away by the craftsmanship. These will house my lambs. Thank you so much, Bob.

Next was a tidy little package from England filled with treasure. Jack Black Jack Black sent me a pipe smoker’s delight box. In it is one of my very favorite blends not sold here in the US, a lovely Rodgers pipe tool, a cool old school wick lighter, and a nice pipe tobacco bag. These will be put to use and cherished. HHBs were not in the package 😁. Thank you, Jack.

I’ll be carrying the stag HHB today.

Very nice! They don’t kid around in Europe with those tobacco warnings, so they? 😳 🤣 I guess that’s better than the ones with a picture of a crispy cancer-riddled lung.

Happy New Year, folks.

Nice pic, Dylan! Good to see you here.

Nah
1 of the supermarket chains had it on sale for 1/2 price. So get a few of them. Always looking for a special.😁
Have a great day.

We’ll do that sometimes when there’s a really good deal on something. For me I’ve found I have to be careful not to overdo it and get too much, and then get tired of whatever it is before we can get through it all. 😁

I just got a delivery...lambsharks!!🐑🦈View attachment 3074978

Those are interesting, Bob.

Many years of close and careful research, my friend…

Not that I’m complaining, mind you. Just don’t show these photos to my cardiologist.

That all looks delicious. My kind of food! 😋😁

…the waiter was like something out of Fawlty Towers! 🤨

Did he mention the war? 😁

This just popped up on my YouTube page! :D Thought some of you guys might like a US perspective on one of my favourite chip butty accompaniments! :D

Well great, now I want a D&B. 😁

I might have to track down some and Irn-Bru as well 😉👍

Good luck. I don’t know about Irn-Bru, but I’ve done a good bit of hunting around here for Dandelion & Burdock and haven’t been able to find any locally.

New Lambsfoot arrived today, my first new one in a while. I’d been hoping to find one of these Sheldon Lambs for a while now. Didn’t have time for any glamour shots, but I did snap a quick pic this afternoon after I finished replacing the igniter on our oven.

I bet the Dandelion & Burdock pairs well with Golden Brown cuisine. Maybe it helps with digestion. 💨

I didn’t get the HHB memo as I sadly don’t have one. But I have this fine Cosimo, through the kind efforts of Paul, thank you.

Too bad the market is quieting down. Thanks for the report Jack.

No more shorts, weather took a drastic turn!!

Early bird gets the worm. ;)

Too bad about the market but thanks for the report. Have a good weekend Jack. :)

Thanks Pat, nice Ebony there
I just LOVE looking at the Hartshead - Stag or Wood- each one is simply awesome!
Great viewing Gents!

.......and of course this Lambsfoot here Steve is awesome as well- I don't mind the chewing - it still is such a great old Lambsfoot that carries a story with grace!
Thanks Duncan :)
I can relate to this chap on video trying out Ben Shaws Dandelion and Burdock, Jack introduced me to it while we were in York! It was nice!

Good for you Mitch :D

Glad to hear it Tyson! :D
I didn't get that memo, either, Steve!
Luckily for me, my Lambsfoot for the entire week is LamBarJack, my rosewood HHB that I'm carrying for the 5th consecutive day:

Always nice to see :)

Thanks Barrett :) Based on Armed Services Edition notebooks from 1943 apparently. I much prefer the regular ones, but found them interesting ;)
Hope that pie was as tasty as it looks.
It was mate, steak and ale 😋 :D
I hate when they do that kind of stuff. 🙄
Yeah, like all the time
Very nice! They don’t kid around in Europe with those tobacco warnings, so they? 😳 🤣 I guess that’s better than the ones with a picture of a crispy cancer-riddled lung.
The cigarette packs are far worse! I don't know why more people don't use cigarette cases, or buy sleeves to cover the packs up

Yep, done that a few times! :D
Did he mention the war? 😁
The amount of time he was talking rubbish at our table, I could have read Churchill's 5 volume history! I had to practically wrestle the menu off him at one point! 🤨
Well great, now I want a D&B. 😁
:D

Sorry to hear that Barrett, that feller made it sound like it was readily available!

Yikes! 🥶
Evening all

Great-looking snags Mitch :)

I cleared the snow yesterday with my steel pusher, before the furnace man arrived. Last year I got mad at the company for some foolish reason, and discovered that my annual service contract with them costs about as much as somebody else's first single servicing. The furnace is fine, and freshly tuned.

Online only it looks like.

Glad you're tuned up Jer :) Rose Beast is looking especially good :)

Thanks mate, got a new dentist, the old one must have found somewhere better to work  Got to go back for a filling, so he gets paid twice  Looks like I'm going to eventually lose a tooth from where another dentist hit me in the teeth with dental pliers last year 😠
I too had to replace my oven's heating element this year... It's like appliances these days have planned obsolescence...
I once knew a guy who was working for one of the big electrical companies, and lost his job due to submitting refrigerator designs that were too efficient
Happy Friday Guardians !
