I once had some lifeboat emergency rations. They were packed with calories, for their weight and size, but tasted a bit odd 😁

Steve, My daughter caught a flight out of Minneapolis to visit her in-laws in Florida to avoid that arctic apocalypse in the frozen north. That winter blitz is heading our way in Dallas too. Temps in the teens predicted for the weekend. My wife will be herding feral cats to get them indoors to our luxury homeless feline spa. To our dogs chagrin.

We are getting heavy frost each morning, which is what you see. We had flurries the other day!! As with you, this weekend will be cold.🥶

I raked my roof and cleared the walk and driveway. I was a little over-dressed, it being still about 20 degrees here.
It's stopped snowing, and a plow just ran over my little street, So I'll make an unnecessary trip to Lowe's to look for another of those $8 shirts (down from $35), and Harding's, for a lottery ticket and sushi, and try to remember it's senior discount day. Then change the eternal flame at the church and home again.

I think the 2 months of veggie/fruit/sausage duty have done it some good. When I got it (documented in this thread at some point) it was literally blunt bladed. Glad I got it sharpened up and put it to use. Such an amazing blade profile on these lambs. Definitely made to work. Show side not as much yellowing but looking great as well.
