Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

For Dawn's birthday today I made the least terrible looking cake I've ever made. (That's a low bar to cross, to be honest, but it least it doesn't look like it has teeth on it like last year's cake.)

Sounds like a busy day, I'm sure you're glad to be home 👍
Thanks guys, I'm glad that, like many folks, I don't have to do that kind of travelling every day

Well done Tyson :)
My Lambsfoot of the Week is Man Jack, a stag senator I won in a GAW in 2015. It's the first lambsfoot I ever had.

The Barrett in the Basil.

Nice pic Mitch 👍

Good morning Guardians, I hope everyone is well, and that your week is going alright. I'm feeling a bit exhausted, and it's only Wednesday! 🫣 Lots to do today, but at least I don't need to go out of Leeds. Hope you all have a great day

Great shot buddy !

It just won't be near Jer.

Nope. I'll get some shortbread emergency rations pretty soon, though. (Jack's idea, and a much better idea than tubes of ghee, in my opinion.)
It's supposed to keep snowing through tomorrow, and the temperatures are diving. I don't really have to get out until Friday, when it's supposed to be 6 degrees and windy.

Good to know you will be prepared Jer.
Glad you will not have to fight the cold for now.

It's bitterly cold here in Leeds today. The wind predominantly blows from the north, but for some reason, this morning, it was blowing the other way, and I was walking right into it. It's been a long time since I felt a wind that cold! 🥶 I made it down to Charlie's with frostbite, and had 2 cups of the best coffee in Leeds, freshly roasted 😋

I had to head up the road to the post office to return my useless DVDs, and then I went into town to pick up some cash, do some shopping, and carry out a few work-related errands (having got up early to get about half of what I had to do at home). Unfortunately, while I was drinking my coffee, though the wind had dropped, it had begun to rain, and that was in for the day, so trudging around town wasn't a lot of fun, but I did call in for some lentil soup as a late lunch 😋

Back home now, and already made a start on my remaining work, so I'll catch you later Guardians
