My plans to go to Keighley have changed. I went over last week to do some unpaid work for a charity a friend helps run, but she messed me around last week, and she's done the same today They can find someone else I've just been doing a bit of tidying up, and cooking myself lunch of sausages, hash browns, and baked beans. With a mug of Yorkshire of course The rain has stopped, but my wifi is no better! Hope everyone is having a good one

Some of the news reports are still predicting heavy snow, while others predict 'Brits basking in balmy temperatures'! The reality is that it's raining, just like it did yesterday

There's thin snow on the grass, but there was enough heat in the roads to keep them clear. No black ice warnings, and the snow is mostly farther north.
I'll bring my snow emergency satchel to work again today. It will keep me from fretting, and why should I bust a gut trying to pretend I'm not eccentric?

Good morning Guardians, sorry for my absence yesterday, I don't know what is going on with my technology right now! I had a long day, out in the back of beyond yesterday, and there was virtually no phone signal/internet. The day concluded with a tea and cake session with the team I had been working with, which was nice, but I was exhausted by the the time I eventually got back home at 7pm I hope everyone is well, and that you are having a good weekend. My chicken stir fry turned out spicier than I'd intended when, after already adding a liberal amount of crispy chillis in oil, I mistook Secret Aardvark Habernero Hot Sauce for the Secret Aardvark Drunken Garlic Black Bean Sauce, and added multiple generous dashes of the former, rather than the latter!
