Great to see more of your Butler Steve
Cool pic David!
Yikes, must have been tough for folks before AC MitchKristy and I went and visited the parents yesterday when Kristy and I left after 12 the back veranda thermometer read 102.
You must have got the snow we were promised here Paul!Supposed to get 5-7 inches yesterday but it dumped almost a foot on us overnight. Wet heavy sticky snow. Took about three hours to clear the driveway with a four wheeler. Going to the city to celebrate my middle sonβs birthday so I hope they did ok clearing the snow. Got a Mongolian grill and possibly a movie in store for us tonight. Got this nice lamb that
echoscout gifted me a while back as my cuttin tool today.

I've conceded defeat and have stopped trying to make imgur do what I want. Instead, I'm using ImageBB. I have a sinking feeling. It feels appropriate for someone who has again put faith (if pictures are faith) into a free service that's almost guaranteed to eventually disappoint.
How are you all?
Glad you got some 'help' Mac!This one riding along today

I believe we have seen the last of frost/freeze in our neck of the woods so we spent the afternoon prepping the flower and veggie garden.

I should think so.
Only what, 36 days to go?
I was going to give up sugar, then it was no, just chocolate, then I had some chocolate and thanked my lucky stars that my parents weren't into Lent.

There's some snow out there. I'll probably just push a couple of tire tracks before I go to church. It'll be above freezing again on Tuesday.
My new 20 mil 3'x3' tarp should still be able to get here today. So I can bring in the scooters our valued customers leave out in the snow, without chilling and dampening my derriere.
Eek!I should think so.

Jack, glad you are having a leisurely day.Hope everyone is having a good day - especiallyRufus1949
I had something to eat for lunch, and then strolled down to Charlie's for a coffee. Hisham was roasting some beans, the first time I've seen it done. It was interesting, but sadly, the modern extractor fans take away the gorgeous aroma

The old feller on the left is Hisham's brother's father-in-law, the dad of Sara, who used to work in the cafe. He is over to see his new granddaughter Leila
After leaving thr cafe, I caught a bus a couple of miles up the hill, to do some grocery shopping, and then walked back home. That's it now though, lollygaggin' from here on in![]()
Thanks my friend, good for herJack, glad you are having a leisurely day.
Emma is still enjoying the quiet comfort of her mother.![]()
Beautiful Lamb BobMy wife enjoys the aroma when I am grinding beans for my morning coffee.

Thanks Steve.Great picture of that sweet burl !![]()
Congrats on that colorful pair of (possibly unintentional) lambsfoots, Bob!
I suppose I'll have to give up my dream of being a master of many languages. My parts are getting old and stiff, including my brain, and how would I keep all these languages from getting mixed together?? Apparently "acero" in Italian translates to English as "maple", but isn't "acero" in Spanish the word for "steel"??Maple in english I suppose ?

Wonderful wood, Mike!
Wonderful grain pattern Gary.I don't remember posting in this thread for at least a couple of weeks, and I discovered this morning that I had more than 30 quoted posts from mid-to-late January that I'd once intended to react to. Most of them were somewhat "time sensitive", so I just deleted them, except for the 3 that follow. I thought a belated comment still made some sense for this trio of posts.
Congrats on that colorful pair of (possibly unintentional) lambsfoots, Bob!
A few of us have the oriental Schrade 19OT Land Shark models, but I only remember a couple of Guardians that have the Taylor version like you have.mbkr has a beautiful stag, and IIRC someone (
echoscout ?) has at least one like your blue one, maybe?

Glad you enjoyed it SteveIt was a great game, a real nail biter with US winning in sudden death overtime 2-1
Sounds good MacSemi-lollygagging today. The wife is going out to handle some things and take a (deserved) break from the chaos, so far we have built a birdhouse/feeder combo and now plan to watch a movie. Low key.
