Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Stellar stag Steve!

Thanks Jack

Good morning Guardians, I hope everyone is having a great weekend :) I've just had another small job to do, but it's out of the way no, and I expect no further disturbance ;) Unfortunately, I have quite a lot of stuff to do in the house, which will keep me busy  Looks dull outside, so not missing much out there! :D ;) Enjoy the rest of the weekend Guardians :) Carrying the Ghost Lamb

Thanks buddy,

My garage is still cold so when I opened it up this morning the windows on my car and all my metal tools became coated with condensation.

Good morning, Guardians. Rainy Sunday morning in Dallas. Callie hates thunder and can barely tolerate the associated rain so she is anxiously pacing and occasionally diving under the sofa. A great day for reading for the humans, however. Charlieโ€™s lamb today.IMG_9165.jpeg

I have been curious about AEB-L. After looking at the specs, and some feedback on knife groups, I was wondering why it is not more popular than it seems. Not that it is unpopular by any means, but from the specs and characteristics I'd have thought it would be more popular (unless I am mistaken about how popular it actually is, which is entirely possible).....So I made a little Lambsfoot to test the steel for myself. It is based on an old, circa 1970's Joseph Rodgers 3.5" knife that I inherited from my late grandpa. Just a simple, no frills little working knife I wanted to share with you guys. Blade stock is just a tad over 1/10th " so I put a hollow grind on it to get a nice thin cutting edge.
Feel free to tell me what you think, and also about AEB-L if you have any experience with it.

A day of reading sounds good Dave. Reading the Sunday papers used to be a big thing here, for generations. Not anymore sadly โ˜น๏ธ Hope Callie finds some comfort, Charlie's Lamb is looking as good as can be ๐Ÿ™‚๐Ÿ‘
Not lying, I do miss those cool days.
It's a long time since I felt like that, but I know what you mean Bob ๐Ÿ™‚๐Ÿ‘

Buffed the handle on the Ghost Lamb and got most of the scuffs out. In the pocket it goes.

My mum still reads the paper everyday..
although they are so small these days, remember when they were like bed sheets.
$4.50 for a paper I had to pick her 1 up a few Saturdays ago, knock me over with a feather.
