Ouch! My veins aren't as prominent as when I was younger, but I've not had too many problems so far Thanks for the well-wishes guys, but my tests are only routine. My cholesterol has been high for a long time, and I was piut on statins a couple of years back (more than a bit dubious about that), so they're testing to see if my levels have improved. I was also diagnosed with a Vitamin D deficiency about six months ago, and in restrospect I think I probably had one for some years, so they are just checking what my levels are like after taking supplements I liked it better when I was young I only went when I broke something, or that time I tried cutting my leg off with a chainsaw.

I watched the Super Bowl game yesterday. I'm a big football fan, but this game was boring, the commercials were boring, and the half time show was definitely not for me. All-in-all it was a big disappointment. But a big congratulations to the Patriots and their fans.

Yeah, I can barely remember going to the docs for decades. One time, it was so long since I had been, I rang up to make an appointment, and they had taken me off their list of patients some years before!
