Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Good luck with the tests Jack  I had the blood tests on Thursday, I dread them, as they have a hard time finding a vein usually end up with both arms black and blue.

Thanks Dave :) Ouch! My veins aren't as prominent as when I was younger, but I've not had too many problems so far

Yep Good Luck with the tests Jack- my last ones came out not so pretty lol.

Man....Those Stags guys!!! Looking Great!

Thanks Duncan, I'm sorry to hear that mate, hope you're doing OK

Yes, hope yoyr results come back favorably!

Good grief, is it an age thing? I go in Tuesday to give, then go in Thursday to review.

Hope everyone has a great Monday!

Good luck Dennis  Thanks for the well-wishes guys, but my tests are only routine. My cholesterol has been high for a long time, and I was piut on statins a couple of years back (more than a bit dubious about that), so they're testing to see if my levels have improved. I was also diagnosed with a Vitamin D deficiency about six months ago, and in restrospect I think I probably had one for some years, so they are just checking what my levels are like after taking supplements

I liked it better when I was young I only went when I broke something, or that time I tried cutting my leg off with a chainsaw.:D

Yeah, I can barely remember going to the docs for decades. One time, it was so long since I had been, I rang up to make an appointment, and they had taken me off their list of patients some years before!

Exactly! Now it seems I go in a couple of times a month, and my wife won't let me near my chainsaw!:thumbsup:

It's true, getting old isn't for wimps is it?! :D

Wishing you all many years of good health anyway folks :) Just having some toast, and I'm off to the post office

Hmmm, I tried to find a previous reference in this thread to a South African custom maker, who make a quite small Lambsfoot (not identified as such, though). Didn’t succeed in tracking it down, though. I think maybe M Mescladis is working her way through the whole thread at the moment? Perhaps she might come across the makers name? They’re in Sandvik 12c27 stainless.

I'm at page 303 and nothing about a South African maker for now. But I'll keep in mind to look for it ;)
(now back to reading, I'll catch up with you all later! Well, not no late otherwise there will be too many pages on either end of the thread )

I can't have breakfast, not good for an early riser
Can't wait to see the feast that follows :D

Good Morning Guardians
I watched the Super Bowl game yesterday. I'm a big football fan, but this game was boring, the commercials were boring, and the half time show was definitely not for me. All-in-all it was a big disappointment. But a big congratulations to the Patriots and their fans.

LOL! I'm still trying to lose weight, so it was just a couple of slices of toast :( :D

Sorry to hear the game was boring :( Congratulations to our Patriots fans

Thanks Preston, cool pic

My friend @herder included this vintage baccy tin with a very generous parcel he sent me a couple of months back. The tin has been on my desk ever since, and has proven very useful for putting all the Guardians postal receipts in ;)

Off-limits for me too. I cut my arm once with a handsaw while cutting tree branches.
It's funny how one little accident and all of the sudden they're the boss of us!o_O:p
All-in-all it was a big disappointment. But a big congratulations to the Patriots and their fans.

It was a bust, but we had good friends over, and played games about half time.
But that rosewood has got to be a great distraction!
