Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Beware the Butter-Fingered Oaf!!!

Well, Jack, I think we can see now where you went wrong. You forgot to slap one of those “HANDLE WITH CARE” stickers on your knife before handing it over to the Butter-Fingered Oaf. :D

Thanks guys, I'm pleased to see this name spreading in use ;) By way of partial recompense for his oafishness, I might make a Butter-Fingered Oaf sign, and demand that he has his photo taken with it! I might have to duct tape it onto his hands in case he drops it!

I carry a Lambfoot because....

It's a lime slicing machine!

Nice Taylor

She is a sweet sassy slicey sw...knife! :D

And looking at that photo, again Jack, thanks again for the tremendous work and out of pocket costs and behind the scenes time and work you have put into this years knife!:)

I agree, Dennis, with both your statements. Especially about all that Jack does and has done. Preston

Thanks guys, it has certainly been a lot of work this year. I needed far too much stationery to carry, so I had to wait in to have it delivered. The pins I arranged before Christmas, and the tins, which I had to have delivered to my PO box, I have been bringing home, by the dozen, for months

Campbellclanman Campbellclanman - Duncan I sent you a PM.

I was going to suggest Duncan was probably asleep Dwight, but it's 9.54am in New Zealand at the moment, so he's probably at work

Thanks much, Vince, I've had a passion for both guns and knives, hunting and fishing since I can remember. Preston
Have you ever been out to Lost Lake, out west of Nederland? We were going to take our camp trailer out there, but our friend who we were going to go out there with got real sick with cancer, had to sell his truck and trailer. We still want to get out there after I get well enough to.

Edit, knife content!:)

Oh Man - what some of you guys do to beer   Maybe it' not so much the lime in the beer that motivates but rather the limes as another reason to use the lambs foot. I'm just tryin' to understand o_O

:D Ray
It's from Mexico originally (or so some stories go), commonly called Michelada, or red beer or anything on that lines. It usually includes lime juice and chile powder, hot sauce, or Snappy Tom tomato juice around some of the boarder states. You should give it a try!

I will have to catch up on things a bit later, Guardians, but I wanted to drop in and say hi. I hope everyone is well.

When I am not so busy, I've been attempting to get in some light reading.

Have not been to that Lost Lake...there are others, so named, in Colorado. I had to look it up on a map. When you come, contact me and depending on how much time you have, I'd be glad to show you a few other spots...if you'd like. Preston

I'm usually so excited when I get a new knife I want to show it off. Then I'm gritting my teeth watching some non-knife-knut clumsily handle it. I start telling them to be careful because it's sharp, and don't try to open two blades on teh same spring, and don't snap it closed like that, and I realize I'm kind of being a jerk, but I'm afraid some Butter-Fingered Oaf will break it or get his blood all over it. Nothing like that has happened, but I've learned my lesson and just keep it in my pocket.

I might give it a try some time, but from the description it sounds like I might as well just make a Bloody Mary.

I'm starting to get excited about Ironwood on the way.

You should try it Rachel! I would guess Mexican restaurants there should serve it, though you may have yo request it.

A balanced meal. The bread is in liquid form.

Nice to see you're eating well Vince :)

Ready for kickoff...

Cheers John

Monday morning, and I'm off to the docs to give some blood for a couple of tests, but I can't have breakfast, not good for an early riser :( Got my AC in tow

Good luck with the tests Jack  I had the blood tests on Thursday, I dread them, as they have a hard time finding a vein usually end up with both arms black and blue.
