Supposed to start warming up tomorrow, seasonal spring weather by the end of the week.

Didn’t Canada get the memo that’s its spring?

Apparently not

I don’t think I’ve ever eaten rhubarb, but just by looking at it I can tell it would disappointing as part of a dessert.

Not at all, mixed with strawberries it makes a very good dessert in pies and crumbles.
I also make a very good rhubarb relish, kind of like a chutney. It is very good on red meat, especially wild game.

Rhubarb is horrendous . I have nightmares about my Mami’s rhubarb pie . She was an absolute wonderful cook but my goodness. Probably just a me thing as most of the rest of the family “said” they liked it. I’m just thinking nobody had the heart to tell her. I draw the line at carrot cake .
