Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Hope you have a good day Jack. Such a beautiful πŸ‘πŸ˜

Coffee β˜• time buddy πŸ‘
Thanks buddy, you too πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘
Yes, I suddenly realized it had been awhile. Still a favorite.

I probably won't make that walk to Lowe's today. I want to make some more forays in the yard.
Definitely a great working knife πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘
I cannot capture them in a photo, but hummingbirds seem to love the garden. We have a few regulars.

Will use lamb to deadhead some flowering plants.View attachment 3183607a
Wow! 😎 Don't work too hard Bob πŸ˜‰πŸ‘
That should get you tapdancing down the street Jack.
Beautiful horn.πŸ‘πŸ»
Definitely! 😁 Thanks mate πŸ‘
Cool picture of that beauty ! πŸ˜πŸ‘
Thank you Steve πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘

Tool Man was on good form when I got to the market, and alternating pieces of pork pie with slices of custard tart. Boring Ray was also in good sprits, as was Gravel. Nobber Al had failed to show, which meant that Ex-Para Steve was missing too. We stood and swapped jokes and stories, as per usual, and there was the occassional customer, including an interesting chap who collected military bayonets. Unfortunately, after 45 minutes, I had to leave, as I had several errands to do, before I headed home for a Zoom call. I called in at the bank, and the supermarket, and realised I had time to get a Thai lunch. I'm just waiting for my Zoom call now, and not looking forward to it, since it is work-related πŸ™„ I hope everyone else is having a good day πŸ‘

Good morning Guardians. Undergoing some medical issues that I hope to resolve in 2 weeks. Geez, I hate getting older but it beats the alternative. I'm very lucky to have so many supportive friends. Today I'm happy to pocket my HHB. Unfortunately I won't be playing golf for the next month or so.

Nice capture of your HHB Bill.πŸ‘πŸ»

Wishing you a quick recovery from your medical issues.
I know how it feels to be deprived of your golf routine.😟

Happy Thursday, Guardians. Getting over jet lag and back in the work swing after a truly grand vacation. My spirits are raised this week by the publication of a client’s book that has been a work in progress for over a decade. I started chasing this brilliant young chef to write a cookbook in 2015. He had just returned to his native state of Texas and begun innovating in the traditional craft of smoking meats to make barbecue. Now he is getting international attention after earning a Michelin Star and being named #2 spot on the coveted Top 50 Best Barbecue Joints in Texas. Here he is in Southern Living magazine’s roundup feature called β€œThe Next BBQ Legends.”

The cookbook was published on May 12. We’ll be doing book tour stops and parties across Texas this month, hitting more of the USA later this summer and fall. IMG_0929.jpeg

Congrats Dave !
The best way to enjoy any food.

Those old enmities can go on a long time David! 🫣 An English Gypsy once told me that Travellers didn't get along with circus and fairground folk, because the latter group were granted a Charter by the King, and they weren't - this was in the 13th century or something! 🀣

Interesting photo my friend :)

Attractive pairing Mitch :)
Thanks Jack.
Have a great day.

Good morning Guardians, I hope everyone is getting through the week OK. I'm going to have a busy day today, as I have some work on, but I'm going to try to get down the market to see Tool Man, and hopefully meet up with Wolfie, at some point. I haven't carried my Peaches & Cream horn Big 'Un for a while, but have it in my pocket today :) Have a good one Guardians

Fantastic news, congratulations 😊 I have a friend who published a cookery book about 15 years ago, and it has sold very well. I've never told her that I don't think there's a decent recipe in the whole book! πŸ™„πŸ€£ Please keep us posted Dave πŸ‘
Thanks Jack.
Have a great day.
Thanks Mitch 😊 With my meeting cancelled, Wolfie came round, and we got coffee and doughnuts, and took his daft dog to the park πŸ‘
Great photo Jack. πŸ‘
Thank you Pat πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘

Nice !

Good morning Guardians !

Another busy morning dealing with the painting project. I had to remove 15 exterior light fixtures around the pool that are going to be replaced.

Old Joseph Rodgers today πŸ‘

Unique is the word Steve.

I guess there are not enough hours in the day for you now?

Great to see that old JR Steve 😎 It sounds like you've been busy πŸ‘
Hang in there, Bill, we're all getting older together! I already used Roper after work today to open a package that was long overdue. The rope jigging is just fanatastic for grip.
