I hope everyone's week is getting off to a good start. I had to dash out early to meet up with a colleague, who had asked to borrow my portable DVD drive. I don't know why she doesn't just buy one, they cost next to nothing these days. We had coffee in Charlie's, as she had insisted I needed to show her how to use it - plug it into the laptop, put in the CD! 🫣 After that, I went into town as Leeds City Council had sent me a stroppy 'Final Demand' to pay my Council Tax. Pretty annoying as they hadn't sent me a bill in the first place, and the same thing happened last year! 🤔 I can see why my bills are going up with all the money they waste though. A few weeks ago, I had to get them to re-lay the historic causeway edges they'd gone and removed from part of my street. No sooner had the 1st and 2nd road crews gone, but a third team has arrived, and removed a section of stone causeway the 1st team replaced! 😖 I've had to complain about that, and this time, replacing it is going to be expensive - idiots! 😡 I'm trying to get a bit of work done, as I'm going out to a graduation party later - the daughter of a couple of friends. I still haven't decided whether or not to eat before I go. There's food, but it's a bit late for me. First World problems eh? 😉

As I told you folk I had to vote back in April mayoral election, well I received a letter last week saying I had been fined for not voting 🤬🤬. Mind you I voted with Kristy and Lorna.

Yikes! 😡 At least you have witnesses! 😉 I've watched a few of this series Mitch (I'd watch more if it's wasn't for the AI). This one is about the longstanding Leeds brewery, Tetley 👍
